Fuzhuang, located on a small island in the middle of a lake within Baohe Park, is a classical garden nestled along the water, comprising teahouses, winding pavilions, pavilions, and bridges. From a distance it resembles a willow leaf floating on the water. Because the buildings on the island resemble an ancient village, it was named Fuzhuang.
A golden plaque inlaid on the south gate bears the striking inscription " Floating Village " in the handwriting of former Defense Minister Zhang Aiping. Within, a quadrangle courtyard blends Huizhou style with modern architecture. A two-story building, named " Jichang ," houses a teahouse. Heading east from the rear of the courtyard, a lotus boat modeled after the Suzhou style stands in the Baohe River. The upper deck is adorned with the couplet " Passing through a world of flowers, slicing through a sky of clouds and water, " lending it a quaint and elegant appearance.
The main body of Fuzhuang Garden Forest Building consists of a group of beautiful pavilions built around water, the most notable of which is " Sky in the Mirror " . The entire Fuzhuang scenery is ingenious and antique. Visitors have praised the beautiful scenery of Fuzhuang with the words " peach blossoms in Fuzhuang, the bright moon, willow catkins covering the river, and the gentle breeze " .
