Hotel Suggestion - Parking and Near Restaurants / Nightlife

Looking for a hotel suggestion for two nights in Atlanta. We will have our rental car so we want to be able to park it but hopefully without exorbitant valet or parking fees. Also want to be walking distance to good restaurants / nightlife. From the research I’ve done, Midtown would be the place. Thoughts?

Midtown is definitely a great choice for your stay in Atlanta, especially if you're looking for easy access to restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment, while also keeping your parking situation manageable. Midtown is known for its walkability, great dining options, and vibrant atmosphere. It’s also centrally located, so you’ll be close to many of Atlanta’s top attractions. Here are a few hotel suggestions in Midtown with parking options and close to restaurants and nightlife:

  • The Georgian Terrace Hotel: Located right in Midtown, this historic hotel offers a mix of luxury and convenience. It’s close to the Fox Theatre, several great restaurants, and bars. The hotel has parking available (self-parking options, which can be more affordable than valet), and it’s within walking distance to a variety of dining and nightlife spots. It’s a popular choice for visitors wanting to be close to the action without the steep parking fees.
  • Hotel Midtown: This is another well-located option in Midtown Atlanta. It has reasonable parking rates, including valet service, but they’re often considered more affordable compared to other high-end hotels. It’s close to Piedmont Park, local dining spots, and nightlife along Crescent Avenue. It’s a great option for those looking to enjoy the city’s energetic vibe while being within walking distance of everything.
  • The Ellis Hotel: This boutique hotel is located on Peachtree Street in the heart of downtown Atlanta, just a short distance from Midtown. While not directly in Midtown, it’s still close to everything you want to experience. The hotel offers reasonable self-parking rates and is near plenty of dining and entertainment options. It’s a good choice for a more intimate, less busy atmosphere while still being near the best restaurants and nightlife in the area.
  • W Atlanta - Midtown: This is a more upscale hotel with excellent amenities, including valet and self-parking options. It’s located in the heart of Midtown, within walking distance of several top restaurants and lively nightlife spots. The W also has a lively bar scene, which could be convenient if you're looking for a place to relax after a night out. It’s a great choice for those looking for a high-end stay with modern style.

As for parking, you’ll find that Midtown has a range of parking options, including street parking, self-parking lots, and valet services. Some hotels offer special deals or discounts for parking, so it's worth checking in advance. Keep in mind that parking can be tight in the Midtown area, especially on weekends, so booking a hotel with guaranteed parking may give you peace of mind.

In summary, Midtown is a great choice for your needs, offering a balance of convenience, walkability, and easy access to dining and nightlife, with a variety of hotels to choose from. Hope this helps, and enjoy your stay in Atlanta!
