One day trip to Savannah in July

Hoping I can get a little guidance. My 3 teens (14-19) and I will be staying on HHI mid-July, and I'd like to take a day trip to Savannah.

Any advice on things we must do/see? Authentic places to eat? None of us have ever visited so I'm completely in the dark. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
