Hotels near Enmarket Arena

Looking for hotel suggestions in a safe area near Enmarket Arena for an event in March. Savannah is my hometown but I’ve been gone so long and it has changed so much. Would like to stay somewhere that has a shuttle option or close enough to Uber/Lyft

It's great that you're returning to Savannah for an event at Enmarket Arena! The area around the arena has certainly changed over the years, but there are still many great hotel options that offer safety, comfort, and proximity to the arena. Here are a few hotel suggestions that are either near the Enmarket Arena or have convenient shuttle services or Uber/Lyft access:

1. The Hyatt Regency Savannah This is a great option if you're looking for a well-known, upscale hotel that offers both comfort and proximity to the heart of Savannah. It's located along the riverfront, which is a very scenic area, and it's just a short drive (or a 10-15 minute walk) to Enmarket Arena. The hotel has a great restaurant, bar, and fitness center. It's not right next to the arena, but it's still a convenient location for both Uber/Lyft and walking access.

  • Pros: Safe, convenient location, upscale amenities, walking distance to historic district.
  • Cons: Higher price point, not immediately next to Enmarket Arena.

2. The Cotton Sail Hotel Located in the heart of downtown Savannah, The Cotton Sail Hotel offers a boutique experience with beautiful views of the Savannah River. It's about a 5-minute drive to Enmarket Arena, and the hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the historic district. They also offer shuttle services and have good access to rideshare options.

  • Pros: Great location near shops and restaurants, stylish boutique hotel, shuttle options available.
  • Cons: Price may be higher compared to more budget-friendly options.

3. Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District/Riverfront This is a great option if you're looking for a hotel with more space and amenities like a kitchenette, especially for longer stays. It's located in the historic district along the river and offers easy access to both Enmarket Arena and the many attractions Savannah has to offer. It also provides shuttle service to popular locations, and there’s an easy access to Uber/Lyft for transportation.

  • Pros: Suite-style rooms, great amenities for families or longer stays, shuttle service available.
  • Cons: Slightly further from Enmarket Arena, though still a short drive away.

4. The Desoto Savannah The Desoto is a historic hotel in a central location that offers a mix of traditional and modern comfort. It's located in the downtown area, just a few minutes' drive from Enmarket Arena. They offer valet parking, and there are plenty of transportation options available nearby, including rideshare services. It’s a solid option for a comfortable stay with easy access to both the arena and the historic district.

  • Pros: Beautiful historic hotel, close to downtown attractions, easy access to rideshare services.
  • Cons: Some rooms can be a bit more expensive depending on the season.

5. Holiday Inn Express Savannah-Historic District This is a more budget-friendly option that's located in the heart of Savannah's historic district. While it's not as luxurious as some other options, it offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms and modern amenities. It's about a 10-minute drive from Enmarket Arena and has easy access to both Uber/Lyft and public transportation. This could be a great choice if you're looking for a good value.

  • Pros: Affordable, clean and comfortable, great location for accessing historic district and arena.
  • Cons: Not as upscale as other options, less “charm” than boutique hotels.

6. The Thunderbird Inn For a more quirky, budget-friendly option, The Thunderbird Inn is a fun, retro-style hotel that offers a unique experience. It’s located near the historic district and offers free breakfast and a fun atmosphere. It’s a little further from the Enmarket Arena, but the location is still relatively central, with easy access to downtown Savannah and rideshare services.

  • Pros: Fun, quirky atmosphere, great value, free breakfast, central location.
  • Cons: A bit further from Enmarket Arena, not as luxurious as other options.

All of these hotels are in safe, central locations and are either close to the Enmarket Arena or provide easy access to Uber/Lyft for a quick ride to the venue. Depending on your preferences for amenities, budget, and proximity to the arena, any of these could work well for your stay in March!
