Global Entry Kiosk

Does STL terminal 2 have a Global Entry kiosk? Will be arriving from Cancun on Southwest Airlines

Saint Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) does have Global Entry kiosks for expedited customs processing for eligible travelers. However, their availability depends on the terminal and airline arrival.

Global Entry at STL:

  • Global Entry kiosks are located in Terminal 1, which is the main international arrivals terminal.
  • Terminal 2 at STL primarily handles domestic flights, including Southwest Airlines operations. Southwest flights from Cancun generally arrive at Terminal 2, but international arrivals may be processed through Terminal 1 depending on customs staffing.
  • If your Southwest flight from Cancun lands in Terminal 2, you will still go through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. There may not be a Global Entry kiosk directly in Terminal 2, and you might need to proceed to a staffed customs lane.

Tips for Using Global Entry:

  • Check your flight’s arrival terminal closer to your travel date to confirm whether your flight uses Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 for customs processing.
  • Even if there is no kiosk in Terminal 2, Global Entry members can still often be expedited through a dedicated line; ask CBP officers upon arrival.
  • Having your Global Entry card and passport ready will help ensure a smooth entry process.

Summary:

While STL does have Global Entry kiosks, they are primarily in Terminal 1. Southwest international arrivals from Cancun usually land at Terminal 2, where a kiosk may not be available. Global Entry can still provide expedited processing through dedicated lines, but you may not have a self-service kiosk for this flight.
