Hi All
I am travelling to Vegas in late April and staying for two nights. The Bellagio seems like the best option for us. We are first time visitors, so we wanted a central location.
Do you have any room or resort tips, that would help us with a short stay? Looking at the King Fountain view room
Thanks
Hi! The Bellagio is a fantastic choice for a first-time visit to Vegas, especially for its central location on the Strip. It offers luxury, great views, and is walking distance from many popular attractions. Here are some tips and recommendations to make the most of your stay:
1. King Fountain View Room
The King Fountain View room is a great choice, offering fantastic views of the Bellagio Fountains and the Strip. If you're looking for the quintessential Vegas experience, it's hard to beat this room for both the view and the comfort. Keep in mind that the fountains show every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes at night, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the spectacle from your room.
2. Request a High-Floor Room
For the best view of the fountains and a quieter experience, request a high-floor room. Higher floors will offer unobstructed views and will be farther away from any street noise. The Bellagio has several towers, so the higher you go, the more scenic and peaceful your stay will be.
3. Early Check-In
If you’re arriving early in the day, ask about early check-in. While it’s not always guaranteed, the Bellagio is known for accommodating early arrivals when possible. It’s always worth asking, especially if you’re arriving after a long flight.
4. Take Advantage of the Amenities
The Bellagio offers a range of amenities that you’ll want to experience during your short stay. Don't miss:
5. Dining Options
The Bellagio has an excellent selection of dining options, from casual eats to fine dining. Some favorites include:
6. Resort Fee
Like most hotels in Vegas, the Bellagio charges a resort fee. This is typically added to your room rate, so be sure to account for that in your budget. It covers things like internet access, pool access, and other amenities.
7. Getting Around Vegas
Since you're staying at the Bellagio, you’re in the heart of the Strip, which is perfect for walking to nearby attractions like Caesars Palace, the Forum Shops, and the Venetian. However, if you want to save your feet or need to get further, consider taking a quick ride on the Las Vegas Monorail (the closest stop is at the MGM Grand) or use the Lyft/Uber app for an easy and affordable ride.
8. Nightlife and Entertainment
If you're interested in nightlife, the Bellagio is home to several trendy bars and lounges, including The Petrossian Bar, which offers a sophisticated vibe for a pre-show or post-dinner drink. You’re also close to many other iconic Vegas clubs and bars, so you’ll have plenty of options if you’re up for exploring.
Overall, the Bellagio is a top-notch choice for a central, luxurious, and memorable stay in Las Vegas. With stunning views, world-class amenities, and easy access to the Strip, you’ll have an unforgettable time!
Enjoy your trip!
