Is the area around Sahara Hotel safe for walking around?
Would it also be do able to walk to the strip and back.
Also are there good cheaper restaurants and bars in that area.
Planning to visit june25
Thank you
The area around the Sahara Hotel is generally considered safe for walking, especially during the daytime and early evening. The hotel is located on the northern part of the Las Vegas Strip, which is a popular tourist area with a lot of foot traffic. However, like any big city, it’s always good to stay aware of your surroundings, especially at night. The Strip itself is busy and well-lit, but the area around Sahara can be quieter compared to the southern end of the Strip. It’s a good idea to avoid walking in poorly lit or less crowded areas after dark.
As for walking to the main part of the Strip, it is possible to walk from the Sahara to the more famous resorts like the Bellagio or Caesar’s Palace, but it’s not a short walk. The distance is about a mile or so, which would take approximately 20-25 minutes. The Strip is pedestrian-friendly with wide sidewalks, but it can be very hot in June, so be sure to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen. If you’re planning to walk during the day, it’s best to go early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.
There are plenty of options for dining and drinks near Sahara, including several affordable restaurants and bars within walking distance. Here are some recommendations:
In June, it’s going to be hot, so it’s a good idea to plan your outdoor activities during the cooler parts of the day and take breaks indoors whenever possible. But overall, the Sahara area offers some good options for both walking around and finding affordable places to eat and drink. Enjoy your trip!
