MGM Pool Question
Pool season is coming soon. We’re staying at Park MGM. I read here a couple years ago that if you stay at one MGM property you could use pools at other MGM properties. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks,
Great question! The pool access policy at MGM Resorts properties can vary depending on the time of year, availability, and specific hotel policies. Generally speaking, guests staying at one MGM property do not automatically have access to the pools at other MGM properties. Each property typically operates its own pool area for guests staying there, and access is usually limited to guests who are checked in at that specific hotel.
However, there are a few exceptions and possibilities worth noting:
- Seasonal Pool Access: During peak pool season (typically spring through summer), some MGM resorts may offer a day pass or special promotions that allow you to visit the pools at other MGM properties, but this is not always the case. It's a good idea to inquire at the front desk of your hotel when you check in or check with the MGM Resorts guest services team for any available options.
- Exclusive MGM Properties: While standard pool access across MGM properties may not be available, some properties may have exclusive access to certain pools for guests staying at those specific resorts. For example, guests at the Bellagio might only be able to use the Bellagio pools, and guests at the Park MGM may only be able to use the Park MGM pool unless there is a specific promotion or agreement in place.
- MGM Pool Passes: If you're interested in accessing other MGM pools, you might want to inquire about pool day passes. Some MGM properties offer paid access to pools, even for non-hotel guests. This is more likely at larger resorts with expansive pool areas, such as Mandalay Bay or the MGM Grand, but it's not a guarantee. It's worth asking if this is an option for the properties you're interested in.
To be sure of the latest pool access rules and any special deals, I recommend checking directly with Park MGM's concierge or front desk when you arrive, as policies may change or be updated for the season. Enjoy your stay, and hopefully, you'll have a great time at the pools!
