Introducing Dapan Mountain

Dapan Mountain, a national nature reserve located 10 kilometers southeast of Anwen Town, Pan'an County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, boasts a vast, sparsely populated area, dense forests, and over 5,200 peaks. It was a haven for renowned scholars in ancient times.

Most of the mountains in Pan'an have steep edges, while the tops are wide and flat like high platforms. There are streams crisscrossing the mountains, continuous canyons, groups of waterfalls and pools, and numerous fish and shrimps. Most of the scenic spots are named after streams.

Since ancient times, the local saying has been that "the Dapan Mountain Range connects the nine states (referring to Hangzhou, Suzhou, Huzhou, and Wuzhou), and its water system reaches the five cities of Tiantai, Xianju, Jinyun, Yongkang, and Dongyang." Dapan Mountain boasts two major geological wonders: the Dapanshan Peak Volcanic Lake and the Huaxi Flat Creek.
