Yangtai Palace, one of the three palaces of Wangwu Mountain (along with the Ziwei Palace and Qingxu Palace), is known as the "Great Yangtai Wanshou Palace." Facing south, it is nestled against the mountainside. Relying on the Temple of Heaven Mountain to the north, it stands tall, resembling the head of a phoenix. Facing the expansive Jiuzhiling Ridge, it resembles the tail of a phoenix. Positioned directly on the phoenix's back, Yangtai Palace is considered a feng shui treasure, symbolizing the "red phoenix facing the sun."
It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with warm and windy springs, hot and rainy summers, clear and cool autumns, and dry, cold, and little snow in winters.
It is recommended to visit for half a day
