Train from Airport to Silversmith Hotel (Blue Line)

I've downloaded the Ventura App, added money - now how do i buy train tickets from O'Hare on the Blue Line to the Washington stop. I'm not new to trains and metros but just can't seem to figure this on out. There will be 2 of us so I'd like to purchase both tickets on my ventura app if that's possible.

thanks in advance!

It sounds like you're almost there! The Ventura app is great for managing fares, but purchasing train tickets through it can be a little tricky if you're new to the system. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you purchase your Blue Line tickets from O'Hare to the Washington stop using the Ventura app:

1. Open the Ventura App
Ensure the app has your payment method loaded and your account is set up with funds.

2. Select "Add a Ticket" or "Buy a Ticket"
You should see an option to either add a ticket or buy a ticket. Look for something like "CTA Tickets" or "Train Tickets" within the app.

3. Choose Your Route
Select "Blue Line" as your route and O'Hare as your starting point. The app should automatically show you the best route to get to Washington stop. You'll be purchasing tickets for both of you, so select "2 tickets" (if the app has that feature) or purchase one at a time.

4. Confirm Your Payment
Once you’ve selected the number of tickets and confirmed the route, proceed to checkout. Your payment method should automatically be charged for the tickets. The app should show you a QR code or digital ticket that you can use to board the train.

5. Use the Ticket at the Station
When you arrive at O'Hare, head to the Blue Line station. Scan your digital ticket or show your QR code at the ticket turnstile to enter the platform. If you're unable to use the app to scan directly at the turnstile, simply show the ticket to a station attendant for assistance.

If you’re having trouble purchasing multiple tickets at once, you can always buy the tickets one at a time. Alternatively, you could use another method such as the Ventra card vending machines at O'Hare if you encounter any difficulties with the app.
