Sandbar tour

Went today on a sandbar tour with Captain Andre from Life on the Rocks charter. It was perfect, small group of six people. Andre took us to 2 sandbars, it was fun and interesting. We ordered the Charcuterie board and it was awesome!! Such a great time so worth it! Thank Andre.

Tours like the one with Captain Andre from Life on the Rocks provide a small-group, personalized adventure that lets you explore the shallow waters around the Keys where sandbars appear at low tide. These tours often combine sightseeing, snorkeling, and relaxing time on the sandbars with fun commentary about the local ecosystem and history.

  • Sandbars are ideal for wading, relaxing, and photo opportunities.
  • Optional food and drinks, like charcuterie or cocktails, make the trip more enjoyable.

Tips for booking and enjoying your tour:

  • Book in advance, especially during peak season, to secure a spot on a small-group tour.
  • Bring sunscreen, hats, and water shoes as the sandbars can be hot and rocky in some areas.
  • Arrive on time and be prepared to follow safety instructions while on the water.

Overall, tours like this are highly recommended for couples, families, or small groups seeking a unique and relaxing Key West outing. They provide a mix of adventure, relaxation, and delicious snacks, making for a memorable day in the Florida Keys.
