Marriott Stanton, Cadillac or The Betsy

Hi,

Looking at coming to Miami in June for the 1st time, 2 adults, 4 nights.

Would you suggest any of these hotels or any other suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

For a first-time visit to Miami in June, all three hotels you mentioned—Marriott Stanton, Cadillac, and The Betsy—offer slightly different experiences, so the best choice depends on your priorities: beachfront access, design and ambiance, or a quieter, boutique feel.

Here’s a breakdown of each:

  • Marriott Stanton – Located right on the beach with direct access to the sand and boardwalk. It’s a large hotel with modern rooms and several pool options. Good for convenience and classic beachfront amenities, but it can feel more corporate and busy.
  • Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club – Offers a more boutique, historic vibe with Art Deco touches. Smaller than the Marriott, it tends to be quieter and more intimate. Great if you want to be close to South Beach nightlife and restaurants without staying in a huge hotel.
  • The Betsy Hotel – A true boutique experience on Ocean Drive but on the quieter northern end. Elegant design, great rooftop and pool area, and a refined atmosphere. Perfect if you appreciate art, culture, and a calm environment while still being close to restaurants and beach access.

Other considerations and recommendations:

  • If your focus is being in the heart of the South Beach action, The Betsy or Cadillac are ideal for walkability and ambiance.
  • If direct beach access and resort-style amenities (multiple pools, beach service) are more important, the Marriott Stanton fits the bill.
  • For a more trendy, design-focused stay with boutique service and quieter vibes, The Betsy is the standout choice.

Alternative suggestions:

  • 1 Hotel South Beach – Eco-luxury with stunning beach views, multiple pools, and rooftop bar. More modern and high-end.
  • Loews Miami Beach Hotel – Classic beachfront resort, excellent for first-timers who want convenience, pools, and family-friendly amenities.
  • Kimpton Angler’s Hotel – Small boutique hotel with a calm, modern vibe, close to shopping and dining but less crowded than main South Beach hotels.

Ultimately, if you want a quieter, stylish experience, The Betsy is highly recommended. For beach access and classic resort vibes, go with Marriott Stanton. Cadillac sits in between with charm and central location.
