Park Reservations

Hi

Do you still need to book park reservations for Disney or has this now stopped.

I'm from the UK so have a 14 day park hopper tickets

Thanks in advance

Yes, as of now, Disney World still requires park reservations for all guests, even if you already have valid tickets, including 14-day Park Hopper tickets from the UK. The park reservation system ensures that attendance levels are managed for a better guest experience. You cannot enter a park without a valid reservation for that specific day.

Here’s how it works:

  • Each ticketed guest must make a park reservation in advance using the official Disney Park Pass system.
  • Park Hopper tickets allow you to visit multiple parks in a single day, but you must first enter the park you have a reservation for before hopping to another.
  • Reservations are subject to availability, and popular parks like Magic Kingdom can fill up quickly, especially during school holidays or busy periods.

Tips for managing your reservations:

  • Make your park reservations as soon as you have your tickets. The sooner you reserve, the more likely you are to secure your preferred parks on your preferred dates.
  • Check the Disney website regularly—sometimes cancellations open up additional availability.
  • Remember to link all tickets and reservations to your Disney account so that you can manage them easily on the My Disney Experience app.

Even with a 14-day Park Hopper ticket, planning your first park entry for each day with reservations is essential. After entering the first park, you can hop to another park according to the Park Hopper rules, typically after 2:00 pm. Always check for the latest Disney guidance before your visit, as policies can change.
