Quick service meal plan
Hi there. We have the Quick service meal plan ( 1 meal per day and 1 drink ) free to UK visitors staying at value resorts. we have a list of restaurants that these credits can be used for. Polite Pig and Blaze aren’t included.
Has anyone been recently using the free dining meal plan
and can you confirm if you can use it for non Disney owned restaurants? Thanks
The Quick Service Dining Plan provided to UK visitors staying at Value Resorts is valid only at participating Disney-owned quick service locations. Non-Disney-owned restaurants, such as Polite Pig or Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs, are not included in the meal plan and cannot be paid for with meal credits.
Here’s a summary of how it works:
- The plan provides one quick service meal and one non-alcoholic drink per person per day.
- It can be used at Disney-owned quick service locations across the theme parks and resort hotels that participate in the program.
- Restaurants not owned by Disney, including most third-party or external vendors in Disney Springs, cannot accept meal plan credits.
- The plan does cover a wide range of options in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney resort hotels, so you still have many choices even though some popular spots are excluded.
Tips for using the Quick Service Dining Plan effectively:
- Check the official Disney website or app for an updated list of participating quick service locations before planning your meals.
- Plan your dining around parks and resort options to maximize the convenience of using your credits.
- Use the app to check menus and make sure the items you want qualify as a “quick service meal” under the plan.
- Consider splitting meals or ordering higher-priced items to get more value from each credit, but all meals must be quick service.
In summary, only Disney-owned quick service restaurants are eligible for the free dining meal plan, and non-Disney-owned options like Polite Pig or Blaze are not included. Recent visitors confirm that the plan works as described, and planning ahead ensures you can enjoy a variety of meals across parks and resorts.
