Which building at longboat key resort
My adult daughter and I plan to stay at the longboat beach resort early November. We were wondering which building to request for a beach view/pool view?
Also, any restaurant recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.
The Longboat Key Club and Resort offers several accommodation options along the beachfront, and your preference for a beach view or pool view will determine the best building to request. For direct Gulf of Mexico views, buildings closest to the beach are ideal, while those closer to the pool or courtyard offer a more central resort feel.
Here’s a breakdown of recommended options:
- Beachfront Buildings: Request rooms in buildings along the western edge of the resort for unobstructed views of the Gulf. These typically offer private balconies and are steps away from the sand.
- Pool View Buildings: Buildings located near the central pool area are excellent for a lively atmosphere. These offer easy access to the pool and resort amenities while still being within walking distance of the beach.
- Higher Floors: Regardless of building, higher floors generally provide better panoramic views of both the Gulf and the resort’s landscaped areas.
For dining options on Longboat Key and nearby:
- Terra Mare at Longboat Key Club: Upscale dining with seafood and coastal cuisine, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views.
- Conde’s Ristorante: Italian fine dining close by, known for fresh seafood pasta and a cozy atmosphere.
- The Lazy Lobster: Casual spot with seafood, burgers, and a relaxed, friendly vibe.
- Sandbar Restaurant: Just south of Longboat Key on Anna Maria Island, perfect for lunch or sunset dinner with beachfront views.
- Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub: For a laid-back waterfront experience, offering seafood and pub-style options, great for casual dinners.
Tip: When booking, specify that you want either a beach view or pool view, and ask the resort concierge for the best available units in that category. Early November is outside peak season, so you should have flexibility in choosing your preferred building and view.
