Advice for the evenings…

We are at the Naples Grande for 4 nights after doing the 12 nights at Disney. It’s beautiful and so relaxing! Last night we went to La Trattoria on fishy Avenue and had a lovely meal. Can anyone recommended anywhere else? The other places around there were a bit out of our price range! Would love somewhere to wander round and then go for dinner. We have a car. Thank you

It sounds like you're having a great time at Naples Grande! After your Disney adventure, it’s wonderful to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Naples. If you're looking for more dining options and places to explore in the evenings, here are some recommendations that should fit your budget and offer a nice experience:

1. Third Street South – This area has a charming, walkable vibe with lots of boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. It's a great place to wander around, do some window shopping, and enjoy a casual dinner. A couple of restaurants here are:

  • The French Brasserie Rustique – A cozy, casual spot offering French cuisine in a relaxed setting. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food.
  • Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar – A relaxed, island-inspired restaurant with great seafood options and a fun atmosphere. It’s a bit more upscale but offers a relaxed vibe and good food.

2. Fifth Avenue South – Another lovely street with a nice mix of shops, art galleries, and restaurants. It's lively in the evening, and you can stroll around before enjoying a nice meal. Some affordable places include:

  • The Continental – A trendy, upscale spot offering a variety of American and seafood dishes, but it’s usually a bit more affordable compared to other high-end Naples restaurants.
  • Café Lurcat – A charming and modern bistro offering great food in a contemporary setting. Prices are reasonable for what you get, and it’s a popular spot for dinner.

3. Coconut Point – If you're willing to drive a little further (about 20 minutes from Naples Grande), Coconut Point offers a variety of dining and shopping options, as well as a pleasant walking area. Some good restaurants include:

  • Osteria Tulia – A beautiful Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, offering a great selection of pastas and wines.
  • The Cheesecake Factory – While it’s more of a chain, it’s always a reliable and affordable option for a wide variety of dishes, from pastas to steaks and, of course, cheesecake!

4. Waterside Shops – If you're looking for a more relaxed, upmarket evening with a pleasant stroll, head to Waterside Shops. It’s a beautiful shopping center with an elegant setting, and you can grab a bite to eat at:

  • Bravo Cucina Italiana – A casual, yet upscale Italian chain with reasonable prices and hearty dishes. It’s a good place for dinner after a stroll around the area.
  • The Capital Grille – A bit on the pricier side, but offers excellent steaks and a comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for a more special evening out.

Overall, Naples offers a variety of dining experiences with a laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for evening outings. From casual places with great food to more upscale spots, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy your time in Naples!
