"Non-Touristy" restaurants/activities

Question

Hello! I'll be part of a group of 4 adults visiting October 15-19. We're staying in a rental property just south of St Augustine Beach, and will have a car so we can get anywhere.

One member of the group refuses to do any "touristy" things. She wants "hole in the wall", and "off the beaten path" restaurants and activities. In particular, she said she wants the types of places where the locals go.

So for those locals on the forum, what would you suggest?
