Where to go whitewater rafting in East China? Choose from nine top rafting destinations!

The midsummer heat is unbearable. Playing in the water is the perfect way to beat the heat! Shooting water guns at each other doesn't seem very exciting. Swimming at the beach is always crowded. Rafting, on the other hand, not only offers a refreshing summer breeze but also a thrilling experience, making it a top summertime escape! What are some great rafting destinations? How should you go about rafting? Let me explain.

1. Travel Preparation

As a popular outdoor recreational activity in the summer, rafting is one of the top choices for many people who want to go out and play. If you are planning to go, you must make full preparations in advance; a good trip preparation will make your trip smoother and more comfortable, so these things are essential preparations for you who want to experience rafting.

Tips:

1. Bring a clean change of clothes and a towel (or bath towel). Because this is a water-based activity, clothes are bound to get wet. It's recommended that boys don't wear just swimming trunks, and girls don't wear swimsuits.

2. Sunscreen (preferably waterproof). Although rafting is in the mountains and has some shade, there are inevitably sections that are fully exposed to the sun. If you are worried about sunburn, you can bring sunscreen and apply it before rafting.

3. Dry food and snacks. You can bring these with you if you want, because sometimes the rafting time is long, usually about an hour and a half, so if you are worried about being hungry after the rafting, it is best to prepare some snacks to fill your stomach.
