There are two counties in Huangshan, one is She County and the other is Yi County. These two places will make you feel the real Huizhou and make you fall in love with Huangshan.
The mysterious Dazhouyuan River flows through She County, where in spring, a sea of rapeseed flowers blankets this picturesque landscape. You may have experienced the majestic grandeur of Tibet's snow-capped mountains, or the romance of the blue skies of the Pacific Islands, but you've never experienced a place like the Dazhouyuan River, nestled deep within a canyon and rising above a sea of clouds.
Bishan Village in Yi County is a renowned destination in the literary and artistic community. Its Bishan Bookstore, Zhulan Coffee, and supply and marketing cooperative are examples of a "dreamland" created by China's first wave of young intellectuals who fell in love with rural life. In spring, the village is ablaze with rapeseed blossoms, and a vibrant atmosphere permeates the landscape.
Chengkan is an ancient village with Huizhou charm. The village is not smaller than Hongcun, but its feng shui layout is more sophisticated than Hongcun. The whole village looks like a Tai Chi Bagua diagram when photographed from the air.
There is also the ancient village of "Tangmo" built in the Tang Dynasty, which has a profound cultural heritage. The entire village is built in a large landscape garden. Here you feel like you are in a Jiangnan garden.
Another must-see in Huangshan is Muli Village. This is the only village in Huangshan without access to a road. Perpetually nestled above a sea of clouds, it resembles an isolated island on the mountain. Legend has it that this village was founded by the ancestors of the Zhan family when they sought refuge there, and it boasts a history stretching back hundreds of years.
It is definitely a good choice to come here during the short holiday and live above the sea of clouds to spend a secluded vacation.

Muli Village is one of Huangshan City's top 100 photography spots. With its exceptional ecology and unique topography, nestled on a mountain ridge, suspended on three sides, and steeped in Hui culture, it's known as "Huangshan's most beautiful alpine village." Looking across from the front mountain, one can see the entire village, a truly breathtaking sight, especially after rain, when a sea of clouds can be seen. The village feels like a fairyland. Waiting from the observation deck until the lights go out and the mist lifts, everything feels like a dream from years ago: a picturesque scene of beautiful weather and a poetic, picturesque time.
