Some people say: If you haven’t seen the autumn in western Sichuan, you haven’t truly appreciated the autumn colors. Autumn is the most beautiful season in western Sichuan. What we want to recommend today is a very niche destination hidden among the many beautiful sights in western Sichuan - Dangling.

Located at the end of the Geshiza River in western Danba County, at the foot of the majestic Dangling Snow Mountain, Dangling has long been inaccessible due to its difficult access. Now, with the completion of road construction, this hidden gem is gradually being revealed to the public.
Autumn is the best season in Dangling, which is like a wonderful oil painting inlaid in the Hengduan Mountains. The majestic snow-capped peaks, the numerous alpine lakes, the hot open-air hot springs, the colorful primeval forests, the slowly flowing clear streams, the thick alpine meadows like blankets, and the simple Jiarong Tibetan customs all gather in one place.

Located in the northern section of the Great Snow Mountain Range of the Hengduan Mountains, its highest peak is Xia Qiangla (Nvxian Mountain), with an altitude of 5,470 meters. It is the highest sacred mountain of the Jiarong Tibetans, one of the subsidiary sacred mountains of the Meldo Sacred Mountain, and the highest snow-capped mountain crossed by the Red Army during the Long March. Many well-preserved Red Army stone slogans are still left here.

Located deep within the Dangling Mountains, the lake resembles a gourd with a large belly and a small mouth when viewed from the air, hence its name, "Gourd Lake." Surrounded by the autumn colors, a vast, turquoise lake lies quietly beneath the snow-capped mountains. However, from another angle, you'll discover the lake is actually shaped like a heart! Quite unique.

The first group during the National Day holiday harvested a lot of golden photos. October is the most beautiful season in Dangling, and it is not too late to set off now.
