Jiuhuang Mountain is located in a rare Qiang Autonomous County in China. The Qiang are an ancient ethnic group with a history of civilization spanning over 3,000 years. The scenic area boasts unique alpine caves, each offering breathtaking, picturesque, and treacherous landscapes. The area is lush with trees and ancient vines, home to a variety of rare tree species and animals.
In ancient Qiang areas, finger-pointing marriage, child marriage, marriage by sale, marriage exchange, and marriage kidnapping were prevalent. After continuous evolution, Qiang weddings generally involve: marriage proposal (opening wine). When children grow up, the elders will look for a partner for them. When there is a suitable candidate, the man will ask "Hong Ye" to bring wine, noodles and other gifts to propose marriage. If the woman does not refuse, it means there is room for negotiation.

Yunzhong Farm is located on the back mountain of Jiuhuang Mountain. The altitude of about 2,000 meters and the lush vegetation create a cool climate here, with fresh air full of negative oxygen ions that nourish the body and mind with every breath. The vegetables here grow naturally and are absolutely pollution-free, allowing children to get close to nature and find fun in the experience.
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Qiangqing Garden to the fork in the road leading to the farm. There is a scenic area tour bus at this location, which is recommended. Otherwise, it will take more than half an hour to walk and the scenery along the way is average. It is recommended to take the tour bus to save time and effort.
After visiting the Cloud Ranch, we took the scenic bus and cable car to the second cable car junction, which splits the mountain. Our next stop was Jiuhuangshan (Monkey King Cave/Lover's Bridge). The road to the mountain was very quiet and secluded, perfect for taking forest-themed photos.
