Afterward, we'll visit Manting Park, the Dai King's Royal Garden. This historic city park in Xishuangbanna was once the royal garden of the Dai King. Legend has it that when the Dai princess visited, her beautiful scenery captivated her soul, leading the Dai people to call it "Chun Huan," meaning "Garden of the Soul." We'll hear stories of the Dai king and explore the charming Dai and Thai architecture.

We'll journey to a pristine Dai village, where everything here exudes the slow-paced atmosphere of a bygone era. Inside, in a Dai courtyard nestled on the first floor of a stilt house, the Dai language lingers in your ears. Learn the Elephant Foot Drum Dance from the Dai people. Among the many varieties of Dai dance, the Elephant Foot Drum Dance holds a prominent place, designated a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Today, we'll travel to Pu'er. After breakfast, we'll depart for the Wild Elephant Valley Rainforest Scenic Area, a popular destination for Asian elephants, earning its name. Visitors can stroll through the rainforest and experience the tropical atmosphere. Along the trails, you'll find rare tropical plants and traces of elephants' footprints, feces, and other signs. To protect elephants, the Wild Elephant Valley has suspended all elephant shows (which we strongly support). Instead, we'll offer the Rainforest Elephant Herding program, where you can join the elephants for a stroll and forage in the rainforest. You can also become an elephant keeper and experience close encounters with the animals.
