I have to thank my high school friend for discovering Dongyang's "Cherry Blossom Valley". One day in early March 2017, she suggested going to her hometown to dig spring bamboo shoots, so the three of us drove there excitedly. Following Provincial Highway 211 (Zhudong Line), after arriving at Lushiling Village, we unexpectedly discovered white and light pink wild cherry blossoms blooming in the mountains and forests beside the road. They bloomed in no particular order among the mountains and forests, but the branches were very pretty, densely covered with flowers. When it was sunny, they were bright and brilliant like brocade clouds, and when it rained, they were delicate and gorgeous, like a fairyland.
The deeper you go into the mountains, the more vibrant the blossoms become, and the more beautiful the spring scenery. The cherry blossoms here are all naturally grown, with single petals. Looking out, you can see distant mountains covered in dark blue, patches of pink and white, and the branches are densely covered with blossoms.
In addition, the yellow sassafras flowers, white magnolias and many other tree flowers whose names are unknown have transformed the originally plain forest into a colorful granite, which is very prosperous.
We stopped the car several times, drawn to the blossoms, to admire them carefully. Growing in the mountains, these flowers are truly a miracle gift from nature.
There are countless gorgeous flowers in the world, but only the blooming cherry blossoms feel explosive and stunning, just like a girl who always wears light makeup suddenly dresses up to go out, making people look at her sideways, as if she is a fairy descending from heaven.
The wild cherry blossoms only bloom for about 10 days, around early March each year, and bloom earlier when the weather is warmer.
Drive to Lushilingtou Village

Drive along Provincial Highway 211 from Dongyang to Zhuji for about 10 minutes, and you will reach a U-shaped intersection;

Because it is a wild landscape, there are rural areas nearby and no restaurants to eat at. If you want to stay, there is a B&B called "Xingyun Shanju" which is relatively remote.
The Dongbaishan Scenic Area is located within the Dongbaishan Mountains, at the junction of Dongyang, Zhuji, and Shengzhou in central Zhejiang Province. It boasts the beauty of the alpine meadows of Tu'erling and the mountain scenery of Qiandao Lake. Located at the southern foot of the Kuaiji Mountains, Dongbaishan borders Zhuji to the north and Shengzhou to the east, making it one of the most famous mountains in central Zhejiang.
The main peak, Dongbai Peak (formerly known as Taibai Peak), is 1,194.7 meters high. It is the highest peak in Dongyang City and the highest peak in central Zhejiang. It is one of the seven famous mountains in Zhejiang Province.
Its majestic appearance presents a wonder in the southeast and can be regarded as the most majestic mountain among the mountains in central Zhejiang. According to legend, the great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai once climbed this mountain, so it is also called "Taibai Mountain".
Peach and pear blossoms can also be seen in Sunzhai Village and Xiachengli Village in Hulu Town, Ligexianbian in Langxia Village, Gaolouxia Village, Ligexianbian in Jiahou Village, Lingxia Village in Dongyangjiang Town, and Huangxitang (Weishanping) in Weishan Town.
Siguang Village has over 600 mu of rapeseed flowers and over 300 mu of peach blossoms. The terraces are stacked layer upon layer and surround each other. Looking out, the terraces are covered with golden rapeseed flowers, rolling and undulating. Above the terraces, the peach blossoms are ripe and blooming red.
300 acres of peach blossoms are in full bloom, and the breeze blows through the petals; the blue wild flowers under your feet dance with the spring breeze; the yellow rape flowers at the foot of the mountain in the distance are blooming with the colors of spring; peach blossoms, wild flowers, and rape flowers complement each other, setting off the colorful nature.
The beginning of spring this year may not be satisfactory, but spring will never disappoint every heart that is willing to wait, and the spring of the epidemic is about to come!
