Azalea
📍Location : Shangri-La, Yunnan
⏰Best viewing period: late May to early June
🚎 Transportation Suggestion: Qianhu Mountain is located in Tuanjie Village, Xiaozhongdian Township. It is 50 kilometers south of Shangri-La City along the Yunnan-Tibet Highway. You can charter a car in Xiaozhongdian.
Every year in late May, for about 20 days, the alpine rhododendrons in the mysterious Qianhu Mountain in Yunnan are spread out like a carpet, as if falling into a pink ocean, which is simply bursting with girlish hearts!
The Thousand Lakes Mountain is called "Lamdongcuo" in Tibetan, which means the Thousand Lakes of the Goddess or the Thousand Lakes of Fairy. It radiates outwards with Sanbi Sea and Dahei Sea as the center.
The edge of the forest is lined with large rhododendrons, with large, vibrant corollas, while the lakeside is lined with dwarf rhododendrons, forming a stunning purple-red carpet.
Nasturtium

Known as the "last tear of the Atlantic Ocean," the grasslands around Lake Sai begin to sprout as the ice and snow melt.
Starting from mid-to-late May every year, wild tulips, nasturtiums, giant nasturtiums, forget-me-nots, irises and other flowers with regional characteristics bloom one after another around the azure Sailimu Lake.
The mountain flowers blooming like a tide and the snow-capped mountains and blue lake are set against a backdrop of a stunning sea of flowers. Sailimu Lake has become a "lake in a sea of flowers".
Buttercups, tulips

🚎Transportation suggestion: Most people charter a car from Urumqi to take the Yili Loop Line. You can also take a shuttle bus to Tekes County and then take the scenic area bus from Tekes County East Bus Station.
The most beautiful scenery is always on the road. There is a three-dimensional grassland in Yili, Xinjiang. The flower grassland suspended in the air is so beautiful that it is breathtaking. It is just like heaven!
Here, mountain grasslands coexist with snow-capped mountains and lakes, and there are rivers, lakes, streams, wild fruits, wild flowers, and rare and exotic animals. In May, buttercups, wild rapeseed, primroses, and dandelions bloom to welcome guests from afar.
Lavender

When talking about lavender, the first thing that comes to mind is Provence in France. However, Huocheng, Yili, which is more than 6,000 kilometers away from Provence, is known as "China's Provence" and is "one of the three largest lavender planting bases in the world."
Every year when lavender blooms, large patches of blue-purple flowers grow in the vast fields, swaying in the wind like waves, and the wind is filled with refreshing floral fragrance.
Rapeseed flowers, sunflowers

🚎Transportation suggestion: Take a bus from Yining to Zhaosu County, then take a taxi to see the rapeseed flowers
Zhaosu, called "Mongol Kure" in Mongolian, means temple. It is famous for producing the celestial horse that "soared to Kunlun Mountain and traveled to the westernmost point", so it is also called the "hometown of celestial horses".
Rapeseed flowers, like Tianma, are well-known to tourists both at home and abroad. If you missed the rapeseed blossoms in Wuyuan in March, Zhaosu will recreate your dream of a sea of rapeseed flowers.
Nasturtium

🚎Transportation suggestion: Take the train to Huhash Station, then transfer to the bus to Beijing North First Grassland
From mid-June to mid-July every year is the summer flower season on the grassland. Cotton-like clouds float in the blue sky, and the mountains and fields are full of wild flowers of various colors, especially golden lotus and wolfsbane, which are the most representative.
Take advantage of the summer to experience the Bashang Grassland, relax aimlessly by yourself, and just roam the grassland for a few days.
rapeseed flowers
📍 Location : Haibei Prefecture, Qinghai
⏰ Best viewing period: mid-July
Transportation suggestions: [Charter car] Xining - Qingshizui Town round trip; [Minibus] Xining - Menyuan County (Haomen Town) There are more than a dozen buses to Menyuan County every day at Xining Xinning Bus Station, and the whole journey takes about 3 hours.
When you arrive in Menyuan, stand on a commanding height and overlook the endless sea of rapeseed flowers with the majestic Qilian Snow Mountain in the background, accompanied by emerald green barley, ancient mosques, and villages dotted among them. The scene is so beautiful that it is beyond words.
In early July, Menyuan officially enters the rapeseed flower blooming season. The best flowering period is around July 10th to 20th. Don't miss it.
Lotus
📍 Location : Wenshan Prefecture , Yunnan

🚎Transportation suggestion: [ Kunming-Qiubei-Puzhehe] Take the Kunming-Qiubei bus from Kunming East Bus Station, the whole journey is about 300 kilometers
Puzhehei is a paradise hidden deep in Yunnan.
This place has the charm of the Jiangnan water towns, but with a touch of tenderness. It is known as "a dreamland on the horizon, a fairyland on earth" for its mountains, water, and the fragrance of rice.
From July to August every year, the lotus flowers are in full bloom, which is the best time to travel to Puzhehei, where you can watch thousands of acres of lotus flowers blooming.
In the distance, a solitary peak stands majestically. Rowing a boat through it, the fragrance is intoxicating, making you feel like you are in a poem or painting, distant and beautiful.

Jiucaiping is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round. This largest wild leek forest in the world is also known as the sea of flowers on the clouds.
It is also the world's largest wild leek flower belt and the only wild leek flower protection area in the country.
At the end of August, the Jiucaiping flowers bloom into a sea of purple, covering the entire mountain and plain! However, the flowers only bloom for 20 days, so if you miss it, you will have to wait until next year to see them again, so you must be there in time to enjoy the flowers.

🚎Transportation suggestion: Emutang Flower Sea is located in Rangkou Township, Hongyuan County, about 350 kilometers from Chengdu. It is recommended to drive or charter a car to get there.
Emutang is in bloom from June to August every year, and the grassland covering more than 30,000 mu turns into a sea of flowers.
The bright little flowers, the azure sky, the towering snow-capped peaks and the vast grassland complement each other, making people fascinated.

Gentiana
📍 Location : Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province

Litang is located in the middle section of the Shaluli Mountains, and National Highway 318 passes through the city.
Summer is the most beautiful season in Litang. The snow line retreats to the distance where the sky and the earth meet, and everything is placed unreservedly under the blue sky and white clouds.
Gentiana and Tibetan primrose bloomed one after another, and cattle and sheep grazed leisurely with their heads down, the beauty was so breathtaking.
Flower Lake

Huahu Lake, located in the heart of the Ruoergai grassland, is one of the largest lakes in the region.
