Wanxian Mountain is located in the hinterland of Taihang Mountain, gathering the essence of Taihang red rock cliffs, with red cliffs over a hundred meters high, rock waterfalls that seem to be solidified, the world-stunning Guoliang hanging wall road, winding and smooth deep ravines, and ancient and secluded villages.
Because of the high altitude, the temperature in summer is lower, 6-8 degrees lower than that in the plains, making it an ideal summer resort.
Wanxian Mountain consists of four scenic areas: the Chinese Film and Television Village - Guoliang, the quiet mountain village - Nanping, the paradise on earth - Luojie Village, and the Buddhist holy land - Sanhu. It is a famous film and television base, sketching base, expansion base, and summer resort base. It is also the first national rock climbing park in the country certified by the State General Administration of Sport.
More than 40 films, including "The Bell of Qingliang Temple", "The Unlucky Uncle's Marriage", and "Raise Your Hands", were shot here. Director Xie Jin praised it as the "Pearl of Taihang Mountains".
Wanxian Mountain Scenic Area is located in the hinterland of Taihang Mountains in the northwest of Huixian City, Henan Province. It belongs to the Xinxiang South Taihang Tourist Resort, 150 kilometers away from Zhengzhou City and 70 kilometers away from Xinxiang City.
Guoliang is the main component of Wanxian Mountain Scenic Area. Its main attractions include Guoliang Village, Guoliang Hanging Wall, Cliff House, Shouting Spring, and Artillery Tower.

Guoliang Village is located in the heart of Taihang Mountains. The houses are built against the cliff. There is a hundred-meter cliff in front of the village and towering mountains behind the village. Transportation has been blocked since ancient times. If you want to go out, you have to take the ladder.
The 720 steps of the Sky Ladder are embedded in a 200-meter-high cliff and are extremely steep. Countless people from Guoliang have fallen down the stairs, causing some to be disabled and others to lose their lives.
"Guoliang Village"
In 1972, the powerful Guoliang people, led by Shen Mingxin, asked for a road to the cliff and dug out a road down the mountain on the cliff - "Guoliang Hanging Wall". Guoliang Hanging Wall is still the only way for Guoliang people to go out.
Standing on the cliff, one can overlook the panoramic view of Guoliang Hanging Wall.
The main attraction of Nanping is Danfengou. According to legend, the Jade Emperor practiced and divided the elixir here, and the immortals achieved enlightenment, so it is called Wanxian Mountain. The place where the Jade Emperor divided the elixir is called "Danfengou".

Danfengou is an "ancient road from 1.2 billion years ago". On both sides of the ancient road are towering red rock cliffs. The plank road follows the terrain of the mountain. Sometimes it is a flat wooden plank road, and sometimes it is a straight up and down iron ladder. The majestic Black Dragon Pond Waterfall is also a highlight.

Scenic spot ticket + shuttle bus: 107 yuan/person, no separate tickets are sold.
The shuttle bus is divided into three sections: scenic area gate - Guoliang Village - Nanping - scenic area gate, or scenic area gate - Nanping - Guoliang Village - scenic area gate.
There are electric cars available for transportation in the scenic area, but they are not shuttle buses within the scenic area.
Whether you are from Zhengzhou or Xinxiang, if you want to go to Wanxian Mountain, you must transfer in Huixian.

Guoliang Scenic Area: 2-4 hours
Danfengou: 1.5-2.5h
Arrive at the scenic spot in the morning and visit Guoliang. Go to Nanping Danfengou in the afternoon and leave the scenic spot in the afternoon.
If you arrive at the scenic spot around noon, it is recommended to play Danfengou in the afternoon of the second day, then go to Guoliang, stay in Guoliang, continue to play Guoliang early the next morning, and leave the scenic spot after noon.
There are many farmhouses in Guoliang and Nanping, which are very convenient for dining and accommodation. You can arrange it according to your own schedule. It is recommended to stay in Guoliang Scenic Area, which has better scenery.
In the eyes of the ancients, Taihang Mountain is full of difficulties and obstacles. Yugong said, "Taihang and Wangwu Mountains are seven hundred miles square and ten thousand feet high." Cao Mengde said, "Going north to Taihang Mountain is so difficult and majestic." Li Bai said, "I want to cross the Yellow River, but the river is blocked by ice. I want to climb Taihang Mountain, but the mountain is covered with snow."
But in the eyes of Taihang people, there is nothing that cannot be overcome. Words can only describe one ten-thousandth of Taihang Mountains. The remaining nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine need to be seen in person.
