📍Zhi Nan Village, Taihuyuan Town, Lin'an District, Hangzhou
Starting from Lin'an City, drive along S205, "the most beautiful highway in Zhejiang Province", and go around a winding mountain road to reach Zhinan Village.
The village has an average elevation of approximately 600 meters, with its highest point reaching over 1,100 meters. Nestled within the mountainside, the village boasts over 470 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of terraced fields reclaimed in the last century, creating a breathtaking landscape surrounded by mountains and the village itself.
Zhinan Village is breathtakingly beautiful in autumn and a true summer paradise in summer. You can explore ancient houses, hike along ancient mountain trails, and listen to the gurgling of mountain springs. But the highlight is the local delicacy, the "Zhinan Eighteen Bowls," a truly authentic, rustic delicacy that will leave you wanting more.

Under the blue sky, thousands of acres of terraced fields cascade down the mountainside and rise from the foot of the mountain. Their grandeur rivals the Yuanyang Rice Terraces in Yunnan. "Quiet and clear" is the best description of this place.
There is a must-see landscape on Fuzhi Mountain, that is the "Glacier Stone Waves", which is a long strip of stone pile distributed on the slopes of Fuzhi Mountain. It is called "Stone Waves" because it looks like a surging river.
This rocky wave is believed to be a relic of a Quaternary glacier, dating back approximately 3 million years. It's a rare sight at low altitudes and a truly unique glacial wonder. Climb it with your hands and feet, gazing at the dramatic cliffs on one side and the picturesque scenery on the other, and marvel at the wonders of nature. Some say the mountain was originally called "Baiyan Mountain," meaning it was so high and steep that anyone who reached the top would roll their eyes from exhaustion. Because the name wasn't elegant, it was renamed "Baiyan Mountain" to reflect its pronunciation. From here, you can not only admire the majestic mountains, but also see windmills turning in the wind.
Against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, the entire highway is so beautiful that it feels like stepping into the world of Hayao Miyazaki's animation. Nearby are Jin'e Lake, Hengxi Old Street, Jin'e Zen Temple, and Tingxiling Ancient Trail, which are extremely playful.

Huanglin Ancient Village is known as the "Shangri-La" of Ruian. The quiet ancient village is backed by mountains and faces water, located deep in the mountains at an altitude of more than 700 meters.
Small bridges, flowing water, houses, ancient temples, old trees, moss-covered rocks...
Starting from the middle of the mountain, more than 100 old houses with green tiles and stone walls are arranged in a staggered manner, exuding an antique atmosphere.
There are large tracts of peach groves hidden among the lush forests and bamboos. The stone-paved paths meander and the streams flow through the trees, exuding an otherworldly fairy air everywhere.

Shanchuan Township is located in the southern part of Anji County, bordering Yuhang District to the east, Lin'an District to the south, and Tianhuangping Town in Anji to the northwest. Although hidden away, its breathtaking scenery remains undisguised.
The first thing that strikes you when visiting Shanchuan Township is the word "green." Walking through the winding, rugged mountain paths, you're greeted by endless green hills, lush trees, and clear waters. It feels like a sacred retreat where immortals dwell, with blooming mountain flowers, chirping insects and birdsong, and rushing mountain springs.
There are many homestays and farmhouses here, and a few days in Shanchuan Township can wash away the impetuousness accumulated in the city. You can also visit the surrounding Yunshang Grassland, go rafting in Xianlong Gorge, or visit Dali Village and Gaojiatang Village to experience the charm of Huzhou villages.

Wushi Village, founded during the reign of Emperor Wuzong of the Tang Dynasty, boasts a history of over 1,100 years. Nestled on a plateau over 500 meters above sea level, it's known as the "Village in the Sky." With an average summer temperature of around 26°C, it's a rare summer escape.
The more than 460 houses here are built with volcanic black stones that have not melted for thousands of years. They retain a very primitive flavor. When the clouds and mist come, they seem like castles in the sky, isolated from the world.
The village is dotted with pristine houses, 1980s stoves, and antique pots and pans. These are probably scenes of life only the older generation remembers. It seems that no matter how rapidly the outside world changes, life here continues at its own slow pace, simple, happy, and leisurely.
Besides relaxing in the ancient village, you can also choose to hike along the ancient trail to see the renowned ancient glacier relic, Wushilang. Along the way, you'll find streams crisscrossing and springs bubbling, offering a refreshing coolness.

Qilixiang Creek flows along the mountainside alongside the village. The whitewashed farmhouses with black tiles complement the clear water perfectly. On a scorching summer day, strolling through the countryside and feeling the mountain breeze is a refreshing experience.

Wild ingredients sourced from the mountains are cooked using local farm methods to create a variety of unique dishes. This was the "Penglai Fairy Island" thousands of years ago. Historically, the Tiantai and Zen sects of Buddhism spread eastward from this place. Xu Fu, the founder of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, journeyed here in search of immortality. Every reef and islet, every wisp of smoke and wave on Daishan Island bears the imprint of human culture. It is like an unpolished jade, free from any overt commercial influence.

Gaoping Township is the highest township in Suichang, Lishui City. Most of its villages and terraces are over one thousand meters above sea level. Locals call it "Little Tibet of Suichang".
The dramatic temperature swings between day and night, along with a forest coverage rate of 82.5%, make Gaoping Township a unique summer retreat. Towering mountains tower on either side, and winding mountain roads ascend into the lush green hills. The contrast between yellow walls and black tiles and the terraced fields creates a vibrant, emerald landscape painting, reminiscent of a shepherd's flute, terraced fields, and magnificent, grotesque rock formations.
The area also boasts Beidou Cliff, a Danxia landform, and towering peaks. The most famous of these, Shimu Rock, stands at a remarkable 260 meters. The love story of the Stone Father and Stone Mother remains a legend, and every year on Qixi Festival, many couples visit to hang love locks and pray for fortunes at the Yue Lao Temple. It seems love and beauty go hand in hand!

Kuancang Mountain, the highest peak in southeastern Zhejiang, is surrounded by a boundless sea of clouds, and the mountain peak is like an isolated island, floating and disappearing, and changing endlessly.
As one of Linhai's most popular tourist attractions, Kuancang Mountain tops the list of tourist destinations almost all year round. If you miss the azalea blossoms in spring, don't miss the starry sky in summer.
On top of this high mountain, on a cool summer night, the vast starry sky above your head makes it seem as if you can pick a handful of stars with just a stretch of your hand.
The sunrise at Kuancang Mountain is also worth looking forward to. The main peak of Kuancang Mountain, Mishailaang, is 1,382.6 meters above sea level and is the place where the first ray of sunshine of the new century shines.
