01. Ruyi Peak, the Peak of West Lake

Ruyi Peak, the highest peak in West Lake, is only known to hiking enthusiasts. Climbing the mountain will pass by large tea fields and bamboo forests, and you can even overlook the Fuchun River when you reach the top!

Coming here feels like stumbling into a Hayao Miyazaki cartoon. A bay of clear water stretches before my eyes, shimmering azure in the sunlight. It's a breathtaking sight, and it's no exaggeration to call it the Little Jiuzhaigou of West Lake District.

As we climbed the mountain, stepping on the soft spring mud, our spirits soared. We reached the summit of Ruyi Peak, 553 meters above sea level, and rested at Ruyi Pavilion, making a wish for everything to go our way.

Climb to the summit and experience the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, letting go of life's worries. Descend via Yetou Mountain and overlook the Banbishan Reservoir at the foot of the mountain. This is a rare bird's-eye view, and you can even check in on the same camera position as on Xiaohongshu!

02. Yuhang Peak - Yaotou Mountain

Yaotou Mountain, at 1,095 meters above sea level, is the main peak in the eastern end of the Tianmu Mountain Range. Here, you'll find a little-known ancient trail near Hangzhou, where you can experience a trek through the city's highest and second highest peaks.

After arriving at Xiayu Village, we started hiking into the mountains. Starting from Xiayu Village, we left the road and entered the bamboo forest, then walked through the forest paths until we arrived at Dalu Temple.

Climb up the steps along the tea garden, pass through the short bamboo forest, and complete the 13-kilometer loop to the top of Yaotou Mountain, the highest peak in Yuhang, where you can enjoy the endless scenery.

After a rest, we headed towards the second highest peak, Hongtao Mountain, where the grass is taller than a person and there are bamboo forests lying across the mountain, which is full of wild charm.

03. Xiaoshan Peak - Shipyard Hill

Here are the remains of Hangzhou's billion-year-old volcano, suggesting that Hangzhou itself experienced volcanic activity in ancient times! Chuanwu Mountain is a relatively well-preserved ancient trail in Xiaoshan, boasting rolling hills, lush peaks, deep canyons, gurgling streams, and breathtaking scenery.

Start the "speed racing mode" here, go up the mountain from Jianshanxia Village, cross the small bridge and you will reach the ancient road in the bamboo forest. The environment is quiet and you can only hear the sound of birds. Go to the top and go up along the steps.

Cross the Yuqingling Mountains, have lunch on the way, and gaze out into the distance to see the Yunshi Mountains.

After passing the Slope of Despair, you can climb to the top of Chuanwu Mountain, cross the Xiangtianling Reservoir, arrive at Yangjia Creek, and then go down the mountain from Jianshanxia Village. It is three ups and three downs, and the Slope of Despair requires the use of both hands and feet.

04. Qingliang Peak, the Peak of Lin'an

Qingliang Peak is the main peak of Tianmu Mountain Range. With an altitude of 1,787 meters, it is the highest peak in western Zhejiang and a must-visit outdoor paradise for hikers in the Yangtze River Delta.

We set out to go deeper into the canyon, through the evergreen broad-leaved forest covered with pine needles, past the winding peaks, and climb to the top of Qingliang Peak where the view is wide.

The South Ridge, with its grotesquely rocky outcrops and towering peaks, offers a breathtaking view of two provinces. After admiring the breathtaking beauty of the summit, descend from the west, passing the rock formations, descending the Haohan Slope, and returning to the Eighteen Dragon Pond via the firebreak, completing the loop.

05. Fuyang Peak - Xingmei Peak

Xingmeijian is located in Longmen Mountain in the ancient town of Longmen. At 1,068 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in Fuyang. Longmen Mountain is towering and winding, with cliff waterfalls cascading down like white silk in the sky.

There is a Longmen Waterfall in the mountain with a drop of 50 meters. It is majestic and beautiful. "The clouds pass by and the cliffs seem to move, and the sound of the stream seems to be rain." The ancients gave the best interpretation of this.

If the Longmen Ancient Trail seems too basic, try the more advanced route. Amidst lush green mountains, vibrant wildflowers, and dappled sunlight through the woods, find a secluded spot to breathe in the natural air.

Visit the Longmen Ancient Road and take in the beautiful scenery. Pass by the Xingmeiwu Reservoir and Qifengkou, and arrive at Xingmeijian. Look out and take in the endless scenery.

06. Chun'an Peak - Golden Purple Peak

"What famous mountain in the world can compare with Jinzijian by the Thousand Island Lake?" Jinzijian, also known as "Little Huangshan Mountain in Western Zhejiang", is located in the north of Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, with an altitude of 1,450.8 meters.

The rocks here are dangerous and the peaks are strange, carved by knives and axes, and the vegetation species are rich. It is a peak loved by hikers and one of the most popular mountaineering destinations in Chun'an.

The peaks of Jinzijian are covered with low rhododendron trees. From the end of April to the beginning of May, it can be said that "the mountains are green and flowers are about to bloom, and flowers are everywhere."

07. Anji Peak - Dragon King Mountain

Dragon King Mountain is located in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, with an altitude of 1,587 meters. It is the highest peak among the Seven Peaks of East and West Tianmu Mountains. It spans Lin'an, Anji and Ningguo, Anhui Province.

The Seven Peaks of Tianmu Mountain attracts countless mountaineers to challenge themselves, and the Seven Peaks Continuous Passage is one of the top ten hiking routes in Zhejiang Province, known as the "second most challenging route in East China".

With its unique geographical environment and the advantage of altitude, Qijian is a rare hiking destination with beautiful rime, strange sea of clouds and gorgeous sunrise.

Climb to the top of Xianren Peak and look out over Longwang Mountain. Then walk along the winding mountain path. Along the way, you will see overlapping green mountains and lush ancient trees, as well as dangerous and bizarre rocks and flowing springs and waterfalls.

Hanging in the air on all sides, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Seven Peaks, even if you are sweating in the sun, you can still enjoy the happiness!

08. Taizhou's Peak - Kuocang Mountain

The towering Kuocang Mountain, with its rolling hills and beautiful scenery, stands at an altitude of 1,382.6 meters. It is the place where the first ray of sunlight of the new century shines. Standing at the top of the clouds, surrounded by mist, it feels like being in a fairyland.

The boundless sea of clouds surges and expands, and the mountain peaks are like isolated islands, floating and disappearing, changing endlessly. As the sun rises and sets, the mountains stretch endlessly.

This is also a paradise for many photography enthusiasts. Hiding in the mountains to watch the starry sky, sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset adds a touch of comfort to their busy lives.

Every year, there are endless people going to Kuancang Mountain to camp. When the weather is good, you can even see the Milky Way!

09. Dongyang Peak - Dongbai Mountain

Dongbai Mountain is a rare meadow-type mountain in the south of the Yangtze River. It is 1,195 meters above sea level, with moderate intensity and beautiful scenery. It is recognized as "one of the top ten outdoor routes in Zhejiang."

Climb to the top of the main peak, Taibai, and look out at the vast sky and earth, the winding mountain roads, the ancient stone steps, and the windmills swinging on the mountaintop. The scenery becomes more and more surprising the further you go up the mountain.

The sunrise over Taibaijian, the East White Sea of Clouds, the East White Rime, and the rape flowers are all worth seeing. It is also a great place for hiking, mountaineering, and camping.

10. Fuzhi Mountain, the Peak of Shangyu

Fuzhi Mountain, at 861 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in Shangyu. It was named after Xie Lingyun, a famous landscape poet of the Southern Dynasties, who said, "After drinking and composing poetry, he would overturn a cup on top of it."

On the hillside of Fuzhi Mountain, three stone rivers formed by overlapping and huge pebbles are arranged in the shape of a "chuan". It is spectacular and amazing!

The ancient village at the foot of Fuzhi Mountain boasts a vast expanse of ancient terraced fields, dating back to an unknown time period. These terraced fields have become a major scenic feature of Fuzhi Mountain. Approaching them, one can sense the quaintness and timelessness of the mountain villages of eastern Zhejiang.

11. Shengzhou Peak - Xibai Mountain

Xibai Mountain, with an altitude of 1,095.7 meters, is the highest mountain in Shengzhou. From the top, you can overlook Zhuji Dongbai Mountain and the Kuaiji Mountains.

Xiaokun Village, with its 800-year history, nestles against a mountainside. Time has left its mark, yet its tranquility remains untouched. Xibai Mountain acts as a natural barrier, shielding the hustle and bustle from the surroundings and leaving the village with a sense of transcendent tranquility.

Follow the path in the village to the mountain entrance - "Wangyou Xibai", where stones polished smooth by time are piled up to form a mountain path.

On both sides of the road are century-old Torreya grandis trees, and a stream flows under a stone bridge, creating the artistic conception of "withered vines, old trees, crows, small bridges, flowing water, and homes"

Conclusion

After completing the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai Peak Plan, we will expand to the whole country. Tourists can tell us in the comment section.
