The white clouds rising from the Qingjiang River in the Grand Canyon are different from the sea of clouds on most famous mountains. It looks like a winding dragon rising from the Qingjiang River, stretching for hundreds of miles.
One of the "treasures of the valley" of the Grand Canyon is the Canyon Incense Stick, which is about 150 meters high and has a minimum diameter of only 4 meters. However, it has stood proudly among the peaks for tens of millions of years and is known as the treasure of the Enshi Grand Canyon.
Water is one of the characteristics of Pingshan Canyon. Most of the water systems have been filtered through the sloping valley landforms. The streams that stretch for more than ten kilometers are crystal clear and can reach a depth of more than 20 meters. If the weather is clear, the boats anchored on the calm water surface seem to be suspended in the air, giving people a strong visual impact.

Enshi's classic hiking route was a filming location for "The Wrath of the West Hunan" and "The Assassin." Hezha, also known as "lazy tofu", is widely distributed in the mixed Tujia and Han areas in southwestern Hubei. The Tujia people in southwestern Hubei have a folk proverb that "peppers are used as salt, and Hezha is used for the New Year."
The preparation of oil tea soup is meticulously crafted. First, tea leaves, vermicelli, and soybeans are deep-fried. Then, cooked diced bacon, tofu, and corn are added. Seasonings like chopped green onions and ginger are added, and the boiling oil broth is added for a refreshing and delicious taste. There's a local saying: "Without oil tea soup, every meal is bland." Authentic Tujia households keep a black pot dedicated to making oil tea soup, and they never wash it, keeping it constantly coated in oil. Locals believe this ensures the soup's richness and flavor.
One pound of fresh meat can only make 0.65 pounds of authentic Tujia bacon. During the curing process, the meat needs to be turned over every five days. The curing time is generally ten days. The moisture in the meat is squeezed out, dried, and then baked on the kang and smoked. The branches pruned from the local orange trees on the mountain are mixed with pine and cypress branches, tea shells, and orange peels and then smoked over a slow fire for 20-30 days. The smoked bacon will have a unique fruity aroma.
"Kang" is a dialect from northwestern Hubei province. It's a cooking method that's a cross between pan-frying and deep-frying, using a small amount of cooking oil. Once cooked, the potatoes don't feel greasy and instead have a toasted, sweet flavor.
