Zhuhai đ is a romantic coastal city. Whenever I want to relax and recharge on the weekends, Zhuhai is my first choice! It's not just Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, but it also boasts many classic attractions, less-crowded and beautiful islands, and a diverse array of delicious food from around the world! Time seems to slow down here, and gazing at the ocean, feeling the breeze, I can enjoy a moment of relaxation and healing. Come join me as I experience the sea breeze and romance of this hidden gem of a city!
The following tips are shared with everyone in detail (many of them are recommended by Zhuhai locals) ~ Especially for those who are going there for the first time, you can take a look at them and feel free to go ahead!
Bus: If departing from Guangzhou, the intercity bus will take about 2 hours to arrive (reference: Qiao Bus, Shuai Tao Bus)
Train/High-speed Rail: Zhuhai Station (Gongbei Port is right outside the station), Zhuhai North Station, Mingzhu Station (closest to Xiangzhou City and seaside attractions)
Bus: There are many bus routes in the city, and the fare is 1 yuan. Yangchengtong has been tested and is available!
Bicycles: Bicycles can be seen everywhere, and there are also special cycling lanes on the road. It is also very convenient to ride a bicycle for short distances.

Sun Moon Shell â Haiyun City â Yeli Island â Lovers' Road â Jingshan Park â City Balcony â Xianglu Bay Beach â Statue of the Fisher Goddess â Love Post Office/Lighthouse â Xiawan Market Snack Street
The attractions along this route are actually along the beach. Since they are all popular and classic routes, parking spaces are relatively difficult to find, so it is recommended that you choose to travel by bicycle or sightseeing bus. If you want to relax, you can finish the walk in two days. Special forces soldiers can also finish the walk in one day!

Sun Moon Shell: Zhuhai Grand Theatre is the only opera house built on the sea in China and an iconic landmark of Zhuhai

Haiyun City: A shopping mall located next to the Sun Moon Shell; it has everything you need for dining, souvenirs, retail, snacks, cultural arts, and a bar street. You can enjoy the sea view by having lunch or afternoon tea at the outdoor restaurant here!
Yeli Island: If you have time, you might want to cycle around the island (shared sightseeing bikes are available for rental). The rocky beach path from Sun Moon Bay to Yeli Island is a great place for photo opportunities. It's a great place to take your kids and pets!

Lovers' Road: A romantic coastal road, you can take a double-decker sightseeing bus or ride a bicycle to explore (the sightseeing bus costs 20 yuan per person, and the one-way journey takes 50 minutes. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the coastline, and you can get on and off as many times as you want within 24 hours).
Tips:
Notice:
1. It is recommended to get on the bus at Gongbei Port Station, ride to the end and then check in on the way back. You can see where the corresponding attractions are on the way.
2. The sightseeing bus will circle the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and pass through the sea. The scenery on a sunny day is really beautiful!

Jingshan Park: 80 yuan ticket (includes cable car ride and slide) unlocks access to the cable car to see the sea and the slide to watch the sunset. From the viewing platform, you can also overlook the Sun Moon Shell, City Balcony, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and Xianglu Bay.

City Balcony: After the lights turn on in the evening or for nighttime photography, the atmosphere is absolutely stunning, giving it a Californian feel! The small gardens on the second and third floors are popular check-in spots for the Love Post Office Lighthouse camera. The mall also has a direct access to Xianglu Bay Beach across the street.
Xianglu Bay Beach: The closest beach to the city center. Adjacent to the Seaside Park, it offers a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and recreational activities. Enjoy picnics, kite flying, camping, taking your kids for a stroll, and even watching the sunrise and sunset.

Zhuhai Fisherwoman Statue: Zhuhai Fisherwoman is the symbol of Zhuhai City
Love Post Office/Lighthouse: The post office is located diagonally across from the lighthouse. You can mail postcards and buy souvenirs on the second floor. This post office is also great for taking photos and checking in. (If you're not interested in taking photos and checking in, just stop by or take some photos on the city balcony. There's no need to make a special trip there.)

Xiawan Market Snack Street: This entire street is dedicated to night market food, packed with delicious food stalls. Delicious and affordable! Highly recommended for snacks or a late-night snack, especially Mantianxiang Crayfish! This established crayfish restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious options.

(PS: I recommend three more piers. If you have time, you can go there to buy some processed seafood. Doumen, Tangjiawan in the High-tech Zone, and Wanzai Pier in Xiangzhou District. Wanzai Pier is closest to the city center and the prices are relatively higher. After eating, you can also take a cruise to see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge or take pictures of the night view of Macau on the other side.)

Tui Ji Tea Restaurant: A classic tea restaurant experience, the food is pretty good. I highly recommend the crayfish noodles! It's the best tea restaurant I've ever been to, though a bit pricey. It's the same dish Jackson Wang makes! A must-try!

Mie Ye Noodles: Their chicken hotpot is really good, the taste and the environment are both top notch, and itâs right by the sea.

Heyuexuan: I recommend their glass pigeon, the skin is thin and crispy, and the price-performance ratio is very high!

Tianpeng Vietnamese Restaurant: A very old Vietnamese restaurant that has been very popular in Zhuhai for a long time. Friends who like Vietnamese food can give it a try.

Zhan Gui Tea House: This tea house has a retro style. Those who have not experienced the taste of a retro tea house or those who want to reminisce can go and experience it. Take the tray to the steamer cart to choose your meal, and then ask the waiter to stamp a round stamp on the cardboard after getting the meal. It has been a long time since I had this kind of morning tea in my memory. I traveled back to more than ten years ago in a second!

Bu Lai Coffee: They specialize in coffee and simple meals. Their coffee has a very good flavor and the beans they use are of good quality. It is highly recommended for those who like hand brewing. The simple meals they offer are also stable and delicious!
Heji Restaurant: There's a really long line at this private restaurant, and it's said to be the highest-ranking local private restaurant. The other day, we tried to call the owner to ask if there were any seats available, but he told us not to go because it was too crowded...
Three Gem Frogs: My son, who loves frogs, promised me he would go there. It's really delicious! It beats a chain store by a few blocks! There are also mixed eggplant and fried corn and enoki mushrooms. Anyway, no matter what you order, you won't go wrong! The boss lady is also very friendly

Zhuhai has many lesser-known islands, and I personally feel that there's not much difference between them. If you're short on time, just choose the one you're most interested in. If you have more time, I recommend staying overnight on an island. Remember to buy your ferry ticket in advance. You can purchase tickets through the Xiangzhou Port or Hengqin Port WeChat accounts. If you're going on a Saturday, be sure to buy your ticket at least three days in advance!
Tips:
PS: Remember to check the weather before traveling. If there is a typhoon, you wonât be able to return once you get to the island.
This is the only island where you can see Hong Kong from mainland China. Wen Tianxiang's poem, "Since ancient times, all men are mortal, but I will leave behind a loyal heart that will shine through history," was coined here. Because of limited daily ferry tickets, the island is less crowded with tourists, and its natural environment is beautiful.
Recommended attractions: Lingding Peak, Outer Lingding Island Stone Park, Twin Pavilions, Lingding Bay Square, Wishing Well

Check out these romantic beachfront attractions, including Flying Rock, Honeymoon Park, and the Pure White Bookstore. The island boasts three beaches: Nansha Bay, Dazhu Bay, and Xiaozhu Bay, each boasting clear waters perfect for playing in the water and enjoying water activities.

The island boasts a scenic path overlooking the sea, and the scenery is breathtaking. The Japanese-style zebra crossing at the end of the B&B street is a must-see. The island is small, so renting bicycles and electric scooters is the primary method of transportation. Cycling around the island is recommended, especially with friends along the coastal road, offering stunning views and a refreshing sea breeze.
Recommended attractions: Guishan Lighthouse, Guishan Ship Memorial Park.
