The entire Buyi Museum in Ceheng County has a total of 13 exhibition halls, which have created a complete set of Buyi cultural theme exhibition routes ranging from the Buyi language to architecture, from daily life to clothing, singing and dancing. Every collection in the museum is the cultural memory of the Buyi people. It is truly "one exhibition, one history, one object, one story."
The museum currently has a collection of more than 1,300 sets of cultural relics, more than 620 sets of cultural relics on display, and several national-level cultural relics. For a local county, this is definitely a good achievement, not to mention that it is the only Buyi-themed museum, so the whole trip was quite rewarding. When it comes to tourism in Xingyi, everyone must be very familiar with Wanfenglin. For example, I have been to Qianxinan three times, and I will still make a special trip to Wanfenglin to check in when I come here. But after this New Year's Eve trip, I found out: "It turns out that there are so many treasure places in Qianxinan!" For example, Wanchongshan, which is close to Wanfenglin but has a more shocking view, is a good place that many people miss.
Wanchong Mountain is only 20 kilometers away from Ceheng County. Although its altitude is not high, only 1,395 meters, it is located at the intersection of rolling earth hills and karst landforms. The mountain landscape becomes complex and changeable, and the whole scenery is also very shocking. There is also a starry sky tent hotel on the top of the mountain. Not only does it have a viewing platform with a wide view, but even in the room you can see the mountains across the valley. The view is unbeatable. The climate in Wanchong Mountain is also good. The days in January are still warm. Winter cherry blossoms are blooming on both sides of the winding mountain road, which is also a beautiful scenery. Self-driving tourists can drive directly to the door without walking at all. It is worth a visit.
Coming down from Wanchong Mountain, you can directly reach [Po Nai Ancient Village]. Many people may not have even heard of this name, but it is a place worth visiting. The village is located at the junction of Ceheng and Anlong counties. It is an ancient village that carries the history and cultural heritage of the Buyi people.
The entire village is home to hundreds of Buyi people and has a history of thousands of years. It has many old houses, ancient wells, and ancient trees. There are also some unique rural homestays for accommodation and restaurants for dining. Surrounded by mountains, the village has charming scenery. It is currently listed as a 3A tourist attraction and is a must-see place for tourists in Cheheng County.
In addition to the ancient villages, Ceheng also has fashionable new rural areas. For example, Tanping Village, located in the nearby Rongdu Town, is a place that is very popular among young people. As a "provincial characteristic rural village", the exterior walls of the houses here are painted with various murals, which are very beautiful and very suitable for taking pictures slowly. After enjoying the tranquility of the Yuntun Starry Sky Luxury Hotel, we went to Xingyi [Sunshine Dream Kingdom]. Unexpectedly, there was an amusement park hidden among these mountains. It really opened everyone's eyes again.
The amusement park is located in Chun Scenic Area, Xingyi City. It is the first large-scale theme park in Guizhou Province that integrates ecological leisure, entertainment performances, catering and shopping. The entire park has 19 amusement projects, including roller coasters, bungee jumping machines, bumper cars, haunted houses, etc. You can have fun for a long time after one circle.
In addition, the architecture is also a major attraction of the Sunshine Dream Kingdom. The gate looks like a fairy tale castle, and the buildings inside are also full of dreamy colors. Walking into it is like being in a fairy tale world, and every photo you take is a beautiful one.
As a leisure resort that combines eating, drinking, playing and entertainment, in addition to the numerous amusement park facilities, the characteristic farm dishes are also a must-try. This time I ate at this restaurant outside the main entrance, and the food was very good, so you don’t have to worry about eating when you come here to play~
This hotel is only a 20-minute drive from Xingyi Airport. After a successful reservation, you can make a free pick-up by phone. The hotel is divided into two parts: the Theme Area and the Supreme Area. The Theme Area has various types of themed rooms, as well as an infinity pool and a restaurant. The rooms in the Supreme Area are relatively traditional. Personally, I recommend everyone to stay in the Theme Area. After all, appearance is justice. A 20-minute drive from Sunshine Dreamland brings you to the famous Wanfenglin Forest. Xu Xiake, after passing through Xingyi, famously wrote in his travelogue, "There are so many peaks in the world, but only here are they formed into a forest." Beyond the rolling hills, the fields and villages nestled within them offer breathtaking scenery. It's a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely ride along the farmland roads, soaking in the breeze and taking in the scenery.
If you have enough time, you can also stay here for a night. In the morning, you can stroll among the mountains and enjoy the geological wonders of Wanfenglin. In the afternoon, you can go to the rapeseed fields to take some beautiful country-style photos. If you are hungry, you can go to Jiangjun Bridge to eat a bowl of egg fried rice that was reported in "A Bite of China". You can also connect the surrounding Grand Canyon and Wanfo Temple. It is really playable.
After seeing the natural wonders of Wanfenglin, our last stop was Pu'an, where we visited Xizhai, an ethnic village primarily populated by the Buyi people. Xizhai is home to six ethnic groups: the Buyi, Miao, Hui, Han, Li, and Yi. The architecture, clothing, and food of the locals are all unique.
The affluent life has made the villagers of Xizhai pay attention to entertainment. There are always various celebrations during festivals. For example, on the New Year’s Day that just passed, a grand New Year’s Eve celebration was held in the small square of Xizhai ethnic village. Of course, there is no need to regret if you missed it. After all, there are still important festivals such as the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival to come. Friends who are interested can come and have a look!
"Appreciate its beauty by looking at it, and enjoy its fragrance by smelling it." Perhaps some netizens don't know that Pu'an County is actually a very important tea origin. It is also one of the earliest places for mining spring tea in Guizhou, and it is also the place where ancient tea seed fossils dating back more than 1 million years ago were discovered. There are more than 20,000 living remains of the world's oldest four-ball ancient tea trees, and it has the reputation of "China's Ancient Tea Tree Hometown".
[Pu'an Tea] has long been listed in the "China National Geographical Indication Products". It has the advantages of uniform appearance, bright red color, long-lasting aroma and mellow taste after brewing. Although the tea trees are old, the spring tea in Pu'an's core tea-producing area is more than 20 days earlier than other places in the country, so Pu'an is also known as the "National Core Production Area of High-quality Morning Tea".
