The Beginning of Autumn has passed, but the heat persists. 🥵
Stuck in a scorching city, are you still worried about where to escape the heat?
Tibet is too far, Xinjiang is crowded, and the rain in western Sichuan is unpredictable...
Why not turn your attention to Guizhou?

Dubbed "China's Summer Ceiling" by National Geographic, Guizhou boasts
an average summer temperature of 23°C
, yet it hides countless hidden gems. (The text then abruptly shifts topics.
) In my last tweet, Guizhou was heavily outshined by Guangxi, and
our product manager, Qiyue, was the first to disagree. 😡😡😡
Qiyue explains that Guizhou offers all the coolest summer activities:
caving, river tracing, waterfall rappelling, and
via ferrata!
This [Guizhou Summer Outdoor Guide]

Xiaoxia checked the air tickets and found that
the flight from Shanghai to Guiyang is only 400+ . It’s great
to have a trip before the end of summer vacation to beat the heat .
*Xiaoxia's price check time is on the afternoon of August 8th📆
Without further ado,
here is a collection of cool outdoor destinations in
Guizhou👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
🎈How to play: Cave rafting + paddleboarding into the cave + life photos
Shilong Cave is one of the most representative original ecological karst water caves in Guizhou's cascade calcification pools. It once appeared on the cover of "National Geographic China" with its "underground Yaochi" landscape and is also known as the "ceiling" of Guizhou's water caves.

There are luminous cave walls here, and the calcium carbonate crystals sparkle like a starry sky under the illumination of a flashlight; there is glass jelly water here (no worse than that in Guangxi), which is crystal clear in the shallows and blue-green in the deeps.
The most amazing things about Shilong Cave are its underground rivers, waterfalls, terraces, and deep pools! Untouched by development, the stalactites, stalagmites, and stone curtains are all pristine, truly awe-inspiring.

We will paddleboard and slowly sail into the turquoise water of the cave. The whole journey will take about 4-5 hours, and you will immerse yourself in the adventure to the center of the earth! When you reach the deepest pool, the photographer will also record the photos of your life for us👇🏻

Most importantly, Shilong Cave strictly controls the number of visitors per day, and spots are limited! (Experience upup✔)
*The temperature inside the cave remains at 10-15°C year-round, and since you'll be wading through water throughout the entire process, it's recommended to bring dry clothes and a warm jacket!

🎈How to play: Canyon hiking + water play + waterfall chasing
Located in Longli County, Monkey Valley has an average summer temperature 5-8°C lower than the city! It boasts stunning mountains, beautiful waters, lush forests, and waterfalls, as well as a dazzling array of caves!
The blue streams along the way seem to be guiding the direction forward. As you move along the canyon, you can step into the stream at any time to play in the water and cool down, and go on a river tracing trip!

The sound of gurgling water can be heard all along the way, and the water becomes bluer the further you go. Monkey Valley may not have monkeys, but it must have blue tears! The sapphire-like pools are as clear and translucent as emerald.

In the evening, run to the vast alpine meadows - encounter a sunset on the Longli grassland

🎈How to play: Cave via ferrata + rock rappelling.
When you first hear this name, everyone must have some questions!

It's said that this place got its name from the shape of the mountains, which resemble the twelve Chinese zodiac animals. Others say it's because the underground cave system is so complex that even if you turn twelve corners, you can't get out. Still others say that the combination of twelve is the king, implying the king of mysterious and ultimate scenery...
There are many different opinions, but the title of "Asia's longest cave" is a sure thing! Here, you can experience the thrill of a via ferrata and feel the thrill of an accelerated heartbeat and adrenaline rush.

Galaxy Cave Via Ferrata
Looking up, you will see giant upside-down stalagmites, and under your feet, there is a roaring underground river. The cave is as cool as if the air conditioner was turned on at 16 degrees!

There is also a rock rappel with a maximum drop of 20 meters. Feeling the shape of the wind on the cliff is a challenge for the brave.

—another breathtaking experience! Guanyin Rock's water quality is well-preserved by the scenic area, and during the midday sun, you can even capture the "Christmas Sun" effect. Stepping through the clear stream, climbing over jagged rocks, and frolicking through the canyon—it's a blast!
There are many diving spots and rock climbing spots set up in the scenic area. The fun is even wilder than in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai! (Secretly pull it up)

Enjoy a via ferrata up the rock face, a 15-meter waterfall, and a vertical ladder climb for a truly unforgettable experience! Nearly vertical rock faces and shaky ladders—come and experience this incredible summer river tracing experience!

How to: Hiking in the alpine meadows and enjoying the sea of flowers [August/September only!]
It's not that Xinjiang is out of reach, but Guizhou
's Jiucaiping offers a unique experience! Hike in Jiucaiping, also known as the Altay region of Guizhou, where chive flowers bloom in August and September, a limited-time offer each year.

This hike is moderately difficult! A sea of purple flowers blankets the meadows, creating a vibrant purple ocean.
Walking along the path through the sea of flowers, you'll be surrounded by swaying blossoms, with rolling hills and whirling windmills in the distance. Every photo you take is a stunning masterpiece. It's a paradise for hikers and photographers.

and water play. Diaoshuiyan Waterfall is hidden in the deep mountains. The hiking route is 9 kilometers long, with dense forests and gurgling streams along the way.

Walking to the bottom of the waterfall, I saw the water pouring down from the cliff dozens of meters high. The most interesting check-in point was as if my soul was traveling through Switzerland.

The spectacular waterfall in the distance is surrounded by mist and is very refreshing. You can also play in the shallows near the waterfall to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Maolan Four Caves consist of the Black Cave, Fairy Cave, Nine Caves, and Golden Lion Cave. The road to the Black Cave is the most intense part of the caving process. After completing this intense climb, the rest of the road will be relatively easy!

Caving @Xiaozhi
In the Fairy Cave, you can see the mountain god worshipped by local villagers (hikers' prayer: Mountain God bless you.jpg), as well as some sacrificial offerings; the Jiudongtian Cave is unfathomable and a bit dark inside, so you must pay attention to safety. Following the light of the flashlight, you can see the stalactites growing wildly on the top of the cave; and the Golden Lion Cave is connected by wooden ladders (the only semi-developed cave), and there is no way to go into the water, but it is also very spectacular!
The Golden Lion Cave really looks like it!
These caves are the ultimate interpretation of karst landforms. During the expedition, you need to wade and climb, and walk through the caves under the guidance of the team leader, feeling the excitement brought by darkness and the unknown.

@Xiaozhi
The 400-million-year-old karst peaks have been carved into a giant funnel by flowing water. No signal is available throughout the entire hike. Hiking into the primeval forest, you can experience the "Dali Garden" effect (also known as the Tyndall effect).
