Day 2 Shendu → Yangchan → Shitan

All day

Morning photographers, remember to wake up early! The light is at its best! Feel free to head to the 180-degree U-turn at the Xin'an River Landscape Gallery to capture the morning scenery! The lush green mountains, clear waters, gray tiles, and white walls, accented by spring rapeseed blossoms, are simply breathtaking!

After the photoshoot, we headed to Yangchan to photograph the Tulou (earthen buildings). The architecture here is pristine and simple, yet full of charm. Layer upon layer, stretching from the foot of the mountain to the summit, the towering 300-plus Tulou (earthen buildings) create a dazzling display. First-time visitors will undoubtedly be struck by the rows and rows of quaint Tulou, arranged in a staggered pattern.

We journeyed up the river to Shitan, enjoying breathtaking scenery along the way. We strolled and photographed, arriving in Anhui Shitan around noon. We had lunch, then chartered a car up the mountain to Xiatai Village, where we were assigned a room. After a short rest, we headed to Beishan, a dreamy route. Starting in July, the route is a sea of sunflowers. As we walked and photographed, we could gaze out over the emerald Changxi River in the distance, and the white-walled, black-tiled Hui-style houses nestled amidst a sea of yellow blossoms—a truly breathtaking sight.

Then we took some free photos in Hushan Village, a deserted village in decline. A few gorgeous peach and rape blossoms are hidden among the dilapidated old houses, which makes people sigh that time flies and the years are fleeting.

In the evening, we returned to the Xiatai Observation Deck to capture the sunset.
In the evening, we exchanged photography tips at Shitan. The starry sky over Shitan was also a popular subject for everyone to photograph!

Day 3 Shitan → Shanghai

All day

In the morning, we'll capture the beauty of Shitan in the morning mist and the sunrise. After breakfast, we'll descend to Shitan Village, cross the ancient bridge, and photograph the village's culture. There's also an old ancestral hall, perfect for photo opportunities.
We'll then return, passing the North Bank Covered Bridge, the most spectacular Qing Dynasty covered bridge in ancient Huizhou. Here, we'll capture both humanistic subjects and portraits. After lunch, we'll return to Shanghai, arriving around 7 PM. A tearful farewell awaits...

Q: How do I shoot if it rains?

A: The magnificent sea of clouds at Shitan is only possible because of rain. A shower or light rain will not affect your photography as long as you bring a raincoat and a camera rain cover. (Based on the weather forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory)

Shitan Village lies at the foot of the Baiji Mountain range, a little over half an hour's hike up. Hidden within the mountains are dozens of quaint villages, the only access to the outside world being a narrow, narrow path. Villagers rely on mules to bring in daily necessities, production materials, and construction materials.
