Day 1 Guilin City → Haiyang Township

Meet at Guilin North Station between 12:00-12:30 noon

After gathering, we headed to Xiaopingle to photograph the ginkgo trees. Within an 80-kilometer radius of Haiyang Township, dozens of small villages are nestled, and ginkgo trees can be found everywhere. In late autumn, a gentle breeze sweeps down the trees, scattering leaves like dancing golden armor, creating a magical fairytale world. Such a large ginkgo forest is rare and a favorite among photographers. After our photoshoot, we checked into Xiaopingle.

Driving time: about 70 kilometers, about 1 hour and 30 minutes

Note: To ensure that tourists can take full photos, the China-TravelNote photography team may flexibly adjust the specific locations according to the actual weather and the yellowing of ginkgo leaves.

Day 2 Haiyang Township → Gongcheng

All day

After breakfast, we'll head to the Ginkgo Ancient Village for photography. Xiaopingle boasts several ginkgo villages, and we'll arrange to visit two depending on availability (to maximize photo quality). The ancient and majestic ginkgo trees here are a breathtaking display of golden color. Their beautiful shapes, deep roots, thick branches, and lush yellow leaves, their long branches stretching out for several meters, carpeting the ground with golden fallen leaves. Surrounded by this golden landscape, a fairytale dream continues – the sound of autumn whispering in the ocean of late autumn.

Visit Gongcheng at the right time to photograph the moon-shaped persimmons. Gongcheng's autumn scenery is naturally vibrant and abundant. Persimmon trees are everywhere, in front of and behind houses, along the roadsides, and on the hills. The entire village is covered in bright red "lanterns." Every spot in the village where persimmons can be dried has become a drying ground for persimmon cakes, and you can easily grab a persimmon while walking along the streets. This is the kingdom of persimmons. The villagers picking, drying, and making persimmon cakes are all excellent photo opportunities. We can take our time here and take our time to shoot. After enjoying the photos, we will arrive at Gongcheng High-Speed Railway Station around 5:00 PM, concluding our two-day Guilin photography trip!

Driving time: about 120 kilometers, about 3 hours and 30 minutes

The Haiyang Ginkgo Forest is located in Haiyang Township, Lingchuan County, Guilin. Dozens of small villages are nestled within an 80-kilometer radius. Over one million ginkgo trees dot the hillsides, with many millennia-old trees and 17,000 trees over a century old. The largest, the "Ginkgo King," towers over 30 meters, requiring six people to hug. In late autumn, a gentle breeze sweeps the leaves, creating a dazzling display of fallen leaves, like dancing golden armor, creating a magical fairytale world. Such a vast ginkgo forest is rare and a favorite among photographers.
