After reaching the first platform, you will start walking on a dirt road. You will pass steep slopes, cliffs, and dense forests along the way, so you need to be extra careful.

2:00 PM

After reaching the top of Niuguzhang, the friends sat on a big rock on the top of the mountain, admiring the huge rocks of various shapes and posing for photos.

We started our descent at the right time. We still had a long way to go, so we needed to keep going! We arrived at the Dazhudou Reservoir, a reservoir nestled on the mountainside that resembled a giant celestial lake. The high mountains made the reservoir even more beautiful. We rested and took some photos, and we were halfway down the mountain.

5:00 PM

After leaving the beautiful reservoir, there was still a long downhill staircase and a winding cement road waiting for us.
In the evening, we finally arrived at the foot of the mountain. There was a small shop there. After resting, we got on the bus for the return trip.

8:30 PM

Arrived in Guangzhou, ending this brave journey.

Hiking: Hiking distance: 14 km; hiking time: 7-8 hours; cumulative altitude gain is about 1099 meters, and some places require climbing

Note: The route is quite strenuous and is not recommended for those without outdoor hiking experience.
