If the number of people gathering in Guangzhou is less than 15, we will need to charter a car and change the mode of transportation to meet at Shenzhen Liantang Port. Thank you for your understanding.

【Shenzhen Collection】

10:15-10:30 Gather at Shenzhen Liantang Port Subway Station A3. Friends who need to exchange Hong Kong dollars or buy Octopus cards, please come in advance and find a store at the port to handle it.

We crossed the border together, and then we took a chartered car or a taxi to Tung Chung, Hong Kong.

13:00

Meet and board a bus to Tai O Fishing Village. A vital port on China's ancient Maritime Silk Road, Tai O is sparsely visited, boasting a simple fishing village and a vibrant fishing atmosphere. The riverbanks are lined with huts built over a century ago by fishermen, each one connected and arranged in rows. Fishermen often traveled by sampan, and the village's rustic charm remains vividly evident, earning Tai O its nickname, the "Venice of the East." Wander around Tai O, immerse yourself in the charm of this pristine Hong Kong fishing village, and discover local Hong Kong delicacies.

Visit the Hushan Observation Deck, a trail connecting the sea and sky. Known as the "Hong Kong version of Jeju Island," Hushan offers pleasant scenery and a relaxing walk. Enjoy unobstructed 180-degree views of the ocean, including planes taking off from the international airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the distance.

5:00 PM

After checking in to the hostel, you will have some free time to relax and prepare dinner at the hostel, or visit the attractions around the hostel:

Ngong Ping Market: The colorful graffiti walls are very photogenic. Here you can taste local delicacies and snacks, and browse cultural and creative handicrafts.

Tian Tan Buddha: The filming location for Infernal Affairs, the 30m tall bronze Buddha is solemn and majestic

Po Lin Monastery: A popular sanctuary for worshippers, even locals flock to it. Its majestic architecture blends the architectural styles of Lingnan and Beijing's official palaces.

Heart Sutra Forest: A large wood-carved Buddhist sutra collection, with calligraphy by Professor Jao Tsung-i, a master of Chinese studies. The tranquil setting, backed by mountains and facing the sea, is a popular filming location for Hong Kong dramas.

Hiking: Hushan hike of about 5 kilometers, seaside plank road, difficulty: easy

Note: As a coastal city, Hong Kong's weather can be volatile. For safety reasons, hiking activities may be canceled due to typhoons, heavy rain, and other factors. If the activity is canceled due to weather conditions, we will fully refund your payment. However, any consequential losses (including but not limited to airfare, hotel, visa fees, etc.) will be borne by you. Thank you for your understanding.

Day 2 Youth Hostel → Tung Chung, Hong Kong → Ma Liu Shui Pier → Tung Ping Chau Island → Disband at Ma Liu Shui Pier

08:00

Gather and depart for Tung Chung, Hong Kong

09:30

Take a chartered car to Ma Liu Shui Wharf

10:00

Charter a speedboat to Tung Ping Chau. China-TravelNote arranges a chartered speedboat to reach the island, which is faster and saves you from queuing or fighting for a seat. It is estimated to save you 1.5 hours compared to the ferry. (Tung Ping Chau Island only has one ferry to the island at 09:00 every weekend, so there are not many tourists on the island.)

11:00

Arriving at Tung Ping Chau, here are hidden the wonders created by nature. After 55 million years of sea erosion, layers of sedimentary rocks have been formed. It has been designated as a "World Geopark" by UNESCO.

The island's unusual rocks are considered one of Hong Kong's four wonders. Normally, the island is uninhabited, with boats only leaving on weekends and holidays. Aside from a few local convenience stores, the island is pristine nature, with its azure seas, blue skies, and unusual rocks, creating a paradise-like experience.

5:00 PM

Speedboat returns to Ma Liu Shui Pier.

6:00 PM

Arrive at Ma Liu Shui Pier and disband on the spot. University MTR Station is right next to the station, making it convenient for returning to Shenzhen (30 minutes to the port) or continuing your journey to Hong Kong (30 minutes to Mong Kok).

Hiking: The whole journey is about 6km, with flat roads and part of the coastline, very relaxing
