Day 2 Guilin → Tianxin Village → Longji Rice Terraces

All day

Get up early and go to Tianxin Village to photograph the pastoral scenery

Here, you'll find classic karst mountains, small bridges and flowing water shrouded in mist, farmhouses reminiscent of Tao Yuanming's works, and villagers plowing their fields with oxen. At sunrise, the sun and its rays, reflected in the ponds between the fields, create a beauty reminiscent of the artistic conception depicted in ancient poetry. The farmers and oxen were specially arranged to collaborate on the creation of this work.

We will then proceed to the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. Upon arrival, we will transfer to a scenic shuttle bus and stay at Jinkeng Tiantou Village. The Longji Rice Terraces are known as the "Crown of the World" and a photographer's paradise. The Jinkeng Dazhai and Ping'an Zhuangzhai rice terraces are representative of the large-scale terraces.

In the afternoon, go to the Thousand-Layer Ladder Observation Deck to photograph the sunset over the terraced fields

Standing on the observation deck, the layers of terraces look like scales, decorating the continuous and steep Longji Mountain into a vivid and shining dragon. The terrain here is in full view. Dazhai, Xiaozhai, Damaojie and Tiantouzhai among the terraces on the mountain form a terraced group that opens and closes in all directions, forming a terraced world that shows strength and beauty.

Driving distance: about 150 kilometers, about 4 hours

Notes: 1. To ensure tourists can capture the most photos, the China-TravelNote photography team will flexibly adjust the Longji Rice Terraces shooting locations based on weather conditions and physical fitness.
2. Since you will need to transfer to the scenic area shuttle to enter the Longji Scenic Area, large luggage can be left at the Visitor Service Center. Please bring valuables, daily necessities, and a change of clothes with you to your accommodation.

Day 3 Jinkeng Dazhai → Ping'an Village

All day

Get up early and go to Xishan Shaole Observation Deck to photograph the sunrise over the terraced fields

Under the morning light, the terraced fields stretch endlessly, layer upon layer, rising and falling in staggered heights, stretching into the distance. Each terrace, like a beautiful musical note, punctuates the vibrant sky with its undulating rhythm. Wherever you look, you're greeted by breathtaking natural landscapes! Afterward, you can capture the Yao people's folk customs and life, as well as scenes of labor. The Yao villages, each featuring a unique design of hanging corner buildings, blend seamlessly into the mountains, creating a quaint, elegant, and picturesque scene. At noon, transfer to the scenic shuttle bus to Ping'an Village for check-in.

In the afternoon, go to the Kowloon Five Tigers Observation Deck to photograph the terraced fields at sunset

The Nine Dragons and Five Tigers are a must-see photo spot at the Longji Rice Terraces. The nine ridges resemble a swimming dragon, while the five rounded hills resemble crouching tigers. The terraces are clearly tiered, with winding lines like waves, creating a sense of mystery, especially in foggy weather. The evening sun shines on the terraces, revealing their winding curves and breathtaking beauty.

Driving distance: about 20 kilometers, about 1 hour

4. Tianlongji Rice Terraces → A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains → Xianggong Mountain

All day

Get up early and go to the Qixingbanyue Observation Deck to photograph the sunrise over the terraced fields

Seven Stars and the Moon is one of the two major viewing platforms of Ping'an Zhuangzhai Terraces and one of its most highlights. "Seven Stars" refers to the seven small hills left behind when the fields were first opened. They are like seven twinkling stars, accompanying the silver-shining paddy field on the top of the mountain. From a distance, they look like seven stars accompanying a bright moon. Some are crisscrossed like a maze, winding and twisting under the cliff, forming a beautiful picture. People can't help but sigh at the greatness of the working people, who have invisibly created such a beautiful scenery.

In the morning, go to Huangluo Yao Village to take photos of the Red Yao people

Huangluoyao is a nationally renowned settlement of the Red Yao people, known for their women's long hair. Known as "the world's first long-hair village," we filmed the village's cultural architecture, learned the secrets of the long-haired women's jet-black hair, and invited them to participate in the filming. We then departed Longji Rice Terraces and headed to Xianggong Mountain for our stay.

In the afternoon, go to take photos of the sunset at Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains

This is a realistic ink painting version of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" discovered by people in Guilin. The core viewing platform on the top of the mountain has a 360-degree panoramic view, which shows the beautiful isolated peaks and ridges in the distance and the magnificent scenery of rivers and mountains with misty clouds without reservation, making people marvel at the wonders of nature.

Driving distance: about 180 kilometers, about 4 hours

Day 5 Xianggong Mountain → No. 1 in the World → Fuli Bridge → Cuiping Five Finger Mountain → Xianggong Mountain

All day

Get up early and go to Jiatianxia to photograph the sunrise over the Li River

At dawn, the tranquil surface of the Li River, like a mirror, blends the landscape into a dynamic ink painting. China-TravelNote specially arranged for a local elder to ride a bamboo raft, accompanied by ospreys, cast nets, and fishing lights. This is Guilin's world-renowned calling card and a classic tribute to the poetic beauty of its landscape!

In the afternoon, go to Fuli Bridge to take photos of the Yulong River scenery

Built in the Ming Dynasty, Fuli Bridge is a single-arch, semicircular structure constructed of bluestone. At each end of the bridge stands an ancient tree, like two guards. Surrounded by verdant mountains and flowing waters, the area is home to well-organized fields and interconnected paths, creating a harmonious and natural rural landscape.

Go to Cuiping Wuzhi Mountain in time to photograph the sunset over the grape peaks

Cuiping Five Finger Mountain is a sacred spot for viewing and photographing the World Heritage Grape Forest, a must-see for landscape artists capturing the idyllic sunset glow. Images captured here have been featured numerous times in CNN, Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, and other publications promoting the beauty of Yangshuo. However, due to its inaccessibility and lack of development, the area remains relatively unvisited. Climbing to the summit, you'll overlook the old village of Wuguihe, where the sunset glow creates a dreamlike, beautiful scene.

Driving distance: about 75 kilometers, about 3 hours

Day 6 Tianxianggong Mountain → Guilin Airport → Guilin City ★ Disbandment Day

All day

Get up early to take pictures of the morning view and sunrise of the First Bend of the Li River at Xianggong Mountain

Climbing Xianggong Mountain, one can gaze out into the distance at the orderly array of peaks, the winding Li River nestled within them. Its unique geographical location offers unique photographic angles, and the potential for seas of clouds, sunrises, rosy clouds, and light and shadows has drawn countless photographers to the area. Xianggong Mountain's prominence stems from a single photograph taken by photographer Chen Yajiang in 1986. Since then, the number of photographers visiting the area has grown, and the resulting dreamlike, award-winning images have catapulted Xianggong Mountain's fame. The Li River makes a sharp bend here, reminiscent of Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River. The scenery exudes a sense of beauty.

Depart for Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at an appropriate time (estimated arrival around 13:00), then return to Guilin city for disbanding (near Guilin Station, estimated arrival around 14:00), concluding your enjoyable Guilin photography trip!

Driving time: about 105 kilometers, about 2 hours and 20 minutes

Hiking: The Xianggong Mountain trail is a stone stairway, which is easy and has no difficulty. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top.
