11:00

After about four hours, we arrived in Tonglu, Zhejiang. After lunch at a local farmer's house, we lightly prepared for our rappelling adventure. We reached a 37-meter drop. At this point, listen carefully to your leader's explanation of the rappelling techniques. Safety first, no slacking! After mastering the essentials, we donned our gear and began descending. Rappelling down the 37-meter drop gives you a true Spider-Man experience. With the wind whizzing past your ears, you'll experience the thrill of speed and excitement in the air.

Return to the campsite in time, set up our tents under the guidance of the team leader, and experience camping under the stars.

10:00 PM

The sky is full of stars~ Time to sleep~ Maybe you are too excited to sleep, you can whisper in the mountains...

Day 2 Tonglu → Suzhou

07:00

The air in the mountains in the early morning is particularly fresh. After we get up, wash, and pack up, we have a farmer's breakfast.

08:00

We packed our bags and, led by our team leader and guide, headed for the steep slope of Leopard Cliff. Experience the thrill of wall-climbing on a 70-degree slope – a feat only we could muster. Arriving at the mountain camp, we rested briefly before unpacking our belongings. We then embarked on our courage-boosting adventure: Wolong Cave. Donning our caving gear, we embarked on an exciting and challenging cave exploration, led by our team leader and guide. We witnessed the ever-changing stalactites and heard the eerie sound of dripping water. Compared to Jinniu Cave, Wolong Cave is a water cave, descending deeper, darker, and with more currents. The trekking distance was also longer, taking about two hours.

I guess everyone was hungry by now, so we had lunch at a farmer’s house at the camp base on the mountain.

13:00

After lunch, we will go down the mountain along the path. If you don’t want to hike down the mountain, you can choose to hire a car to go down the mountain and wait for us to meet you at the foot of the mountain. The cost is at your own expense.

1:45 PM

Arriving at Jinniu Cave, this can be called a dry cave with a relatively open space. The Jesus light at the entrance of the cave is a good place to pose. It took about 30 minutes to get out of the cave and then go down the mountain.

2:30 PM

We got on the bus and returned, saying goodbye to the local tour leader and Jilong Mountain.

6:30 PM

When we returned to Suzhou city, everyone was still reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!

Driving time: about 4 hours

Notes: 1. Rappelling and caving are considered extreme outdoor sports. China-TravelNote will provide on-site guidance from professional coaches and team leaders. We encourage all participants to listen carefully to and complete the activities, and refrain from any actions that could endanger the safety of the team or themselves.
2. Today's itinerary is a trekking route: Leopard Cliff, Wolong Cave, and Jinniu Cave. The team leader will arrange the order of the excursions based on the actual situation. Please be advised.

Jilong Mountain is located in Tonglu, Hangzhou, on the shores of the Yaolin Fairyland and the Tianmu River. This scenic mountain retreat, traversing prehistoric caves, offers a breathtaking natural landscape. The scenic Jilong Mountain and the precipitous Baizhang Rock, with a slope of nearly 60 degrees, offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Jilong Mountain, a typical karst landform, rises 818 meters above sea level, nestled within an exposed zone of alpine rock and lava, where a profusion of rocky peaks dominate. Some stand alone, seemingly sculptured, while others curve like waves. Peaks, pillars, ravines, stalagmites, and stone gates interspersed in a staggered pattern, connected by winding paths, create a scene reminiscent of a stone maze.
