2-Day Tour to Muli Village, a Small Village in Huizhou

Day 1 Huangshan City → Qiyun Mountain → Mulikeng

At 9:10 AM, we gathered and headed to Qiyun Mountain (approximately a 40-minute drive). Qiyun Mountain is a high mountain in my country's Danxia landforms, home to precious temples and temples, Taoist paintings, and cliff carvings left by thousands of scholars. The mountain's vegetation complements the whitewashed walls and black-tiled Hui-style houses, creating a unique atmosphere.

After we arrived at Qiyun Mountain at 9:50, we rested appropriately and then took the cable car up the mountain, passing Mengzhen Bridge, Yitian Gate to Santian Gate, and Xuantian Taisu Palace. After about 1 hour, we arrived at the essence of Qiyun Mountain - Yuehua Street. Taoist priests who practice on Yuehua Street live together with villagers on the mountain. It is quiet and peaceful, and it is also the center of accommodation and catering in the scenic area.

At noon, you can enjoy a free lunch at Yuehua Tianjie. After lunch, you can visit Xiaohutian, Yuxu Palace, and the Mysterious Corridor. The Mysterious Corridor is a typical example of Qiyun Mountain's Danxia landform, and seeing it in person will astound you. Then, prepare to descend the mountain. You can follow the hiking trail, stopping for photos for about 1.5 hours, or you can take the cable car.

At 3:00 PM, we depart Qiyun Mountain and head to the high-altitude village of Muliqu (approximately a 55-minute drive). Muliqu is inaccessible by road, nestled on a mountain ridge, with three sides suspended in the air. While marveling at the village's mystical beauty, you can wait for sunset and wander around the village. Dinner will be served in due course, where you'll enjoy a delicious farmhouse meal and chat with the local owner about the village's history.

Tourists interested in the night can watch the stars and take photos of the sky. Remember to go to bed early.

Day 2: Muli Village → Zuyuan Village → Xixi South → Huangshan North Station/Tunxi City Disband

Muli Village is famous for its sea of ​​clouds, creating a fairyland-like experience. Muli Village is considered one of Huangshan City's top 100 photography spots, and a photographer captured award-winning photos of the boundless scenery of Xin'an, based on this mountain village. There are so many beautiful sights to discover! Grab your camera and snap away!

After breakfast at 9:00, as the number of tourists gradually increased, we left and hiked to Zuyuan Village (5km, about 1.5-2 hours). Zuyuan Village was built in the Song Dynasty, with whitewashed walls and black tiles, and the ancient charm of Huizhou style. The village has historical and cultural landscapes such as water outlets, ancient bridges, ancient houses, ancient trees, and Sixian Ridge. It is especially famous for its thousand-year-old yew and has over 100 acres of terraced fields.

At 11:00, we will visit Zuyuan Village. Let us savor the history in this ancient village surrounded by mountains and full of history, and leave behind our own wonderful moments with it. Afterwards, we will have a free lunch in Zuyuan Village, where we can enjoy a bite of mountain food and a taste of Huizhou flavor, and rest appropriately.

At 1:00 PM, we departed for Xixinan (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes). Xixinan Village, once known as the "richest village in Sheyi," boasts numerous private gardens and orchards. Along the banks of the clear Fengle River, vast maple and poplar forests line the landscape. Shallow fords, stone bridges, and the village's old streets offer a juxtaposition of century-old houses and newly constructed buildings, creating a harmonious blend of old and new, nestled between the mountains and the water, creating a picturesque scene.

At 2:10 PM, we explore the Eight Ancient Scenic Spots of Fengxi, described by Zhu Zhishan. We follow the streamside streets to the maple and poplar forest, a splendid expanse of green. We take a short loop, explore the unique cultural and creative shops, experience the new look of the ancient village, and explore this tranquil green wonderland. At 15:30 we left Xixinan and headed to the North of the High-speed Railway or the city to disband. We kissed goodbye with tears and saw each other next time.

Muli Village is one of Huangshan's top 100 photography spots. Its unique topography, perched on a mountain ridge and suspended on three sides, is rich in Hui culture and is known as "Huangshan's remarkable alpine village." Looking across from the front mountain, one can see the entire village, a truly breathtaking sight, especially after rain, when a sea of ​​clouds can be seen. The village feels like a fairyland.

Zuyuan Village, nestled on the mountainside of Chajiaojian at an altitude of 685 meters, was founded in the Song Dynasty. With its flowing springs and cascading waterfalls, whitewashed walls and black tiles, it evokes the ancient charm of the Huizhou style. The village boasts historical and cultural attractions such as water inlets, ancient bridges, ancient dwellings, ancient trees, and Sixian Ridge. It is particularly famous for its thousand-year-old yew trees and over 100 acres of terraced fields. It is one of Huangshan City's top 100 photography spots.

Xixinan Village, located in Huizhou District, Anhui Province, is a renowned cultural town with over 1,200 years of history. The village lies at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain, on the upper reaches of the Xin'an River, and on the banks of the Fengle River.
