2nd Tianjia Tianxia → Dalingtou → Yulong Bay → Lansheng Bridge → Cuiping Wuzhi Mountain
All day
Get up early and go to Jiatianxia to photograph the sunrise over the Li River
In the morning, we journeyed to the secret reaches of the Li River. The tranquil landscape, like a mirror, blended with the surrounding water, creating a dynamic ink painting. China-TravelNote specially arranged for a local elder to ride on a bamboo raft, accompanied by ospreys, cast nets, and fishing lights. This is Guilin's world-renowned calling card and a classic tribute to its picturesque landscape.
In the afternoon, go to the Dalingtou Mountaintop Observation Deck
From here you can overlook the surrounding karst peaks of various shapes. It is a popular spot near Xianggong Mountain for watching the sunrise and sea of clouds for free. You can check in if you pass by.
Then go to Yangshuo to check in Yulong Bay
Located opposite the Land Rover Bridge, the Yulong River turns a bend here. The karst peaks and hot air balloons are reflected in the Yulong River, making it a very pleasant place to drink coffee.
Then go to Yangshuo to check in the Land Rover Bridge
Lansheng Bridge is located in the lower reaches of the Yulong River. From the bridge, you can capture the beautiful scenery of the Yulong River. The distant mountains, clear river water, and drifting bamboo rafts form a beautiful picture of the Yulong River.
Go there at the right time to photograph the sunset at Cuiping Wuzhi Mountain
This is an ideal spot for viewing and photographing the Grape Forest, a World Heritage Site, and a must-see for landscape artists capturing the idyllic sunset glow. Images captured here have been featured numerous times in CNN, Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, and other publications promoting Yangshuo's beauty. However, due to its inaccessibility and lack of development, the area remains relatively unvisited. Climbing to the top, overlooking the old village of Wugui River, the sunset creates a dreamlike, beautiful scene.

Day 3 Tianxianggong Mountain → Tianxin Village → Guilin ★ Disbandment Day
All day
Get up early and go to Xianggong Mountain to photograph the sunrise at the first bend of the Li River
Climbing Xianggong Mountain, one can gaze out into the distance at the orderly array of peaks, the winding Li River nestled within them. Its unique geographical location offers unique photographic angles, and the potential for seas of clouds, sunrises, rosy clouds, and light and shadows has drawn countless photographers to the area. Xianggong Mountain's prominence stems from a single photograph taken by photographer Chen Yajiang in 1986. Since then, the number of photographers visiting the area has grown, and the resulting dreamlike, award-winning images have catapulted Xianggong Mountain's fame. The Li River makes a sharp bend here, reminiscent of Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River. The scenery exudes a sense of beauty.
Go to Tianxin Village to photograph the rural scenery
Tianxin Village boasts a rich history, preserving its traditional farming lifestyle of plowing with water buffaloes, planting rice, weeding the fields, and harvesting and threshing rice. A Ming Dynasty stone bridge spans the rice paddies and water system, with a backdrop of steamed bun-shaped karst peaks, creating a three-layered spatial narrative of "bridge-field-mountain." Named a "Chinese Pastoral Photography Location" by National Geographic China, the village was specially commissioned to collaborate with farmers and oxen on the creation of this work.
We arrived at Guilin Station around 13:00 noon and disbanded. We look forward to seeing you next time.
