Nanhu Lake, Qingxiu Mountain, National Museum, Three Streets and Two Alleys, Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, Hangyang International, Nanhu Park, Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, etc.
Head to the food district of Zhongshan Road and the Jianzheng Road Night Market, and of course you can’t miss tasting local delicacies such as Laoyoufen, hand-squeezed rice noodles, and sweet soup.
Transportation instructions to the meeting hotel
Nanning Wuxu Airport: Take a taxi online for about 90-120 yuan, or take the Airport Bus Line 1 to the Civil Aviation Hotel, then take a taxi to the hotel (about 10 yuan).
Nanning East Railway Station: Take a taxi for about 50 yuan, or take Metro Line 1 to Nanning Railway Station and walk to the hotel

Day 2 Nanning → Beihai → Weizhou Island

We set off for Beihai City and arrived at Beihai Old Street
This old street, nearly 200 years old, was only 200 meters long and 4 meters wide. With continuous development over various historical periods, it has now become a 1.44-kilometer-long and 9-meter-wide commercial street lined with arcade-style buildings that blend Chinese and Western styles. Beneath the arcades, a vibrant streetscape evokes the aroma of coffee and salted fish. Numerous snack shops offer signature dishes, including shrimp cakes, Qiaoyue rice noodle rolls, and the hidden gem Gotu Kola herbal tea.
We have free time for lunch here.

In the afternoon, we went to Beihai Wharf and took a ferry to Weizhou Island (a 2-hour journey on a large cruise ship, so it was relatively stable).
Due to force majeure factors such as weather and government regulation, we were unable to go to the island on the day the ship was suspended. We stayed at the Beihai Hotel instead and confirmed with the ship whether it would sail the next day. If it did, we would choose to go to the island the next day. The itinerary on the island would be adjusted according to the ship schedule.
Day 3 Weizhou Island Tour

Today we will travel around the island for a day and experience the romantic sea view of this island.
In the morning, we headed to Wucai Beach Scenic Area, where you can take photos of the sunrise on Weizhou Island. There are large reefs here that change color under the sunlight (those who don't want to watch the sunrise can sleep in).

After breakfast, we followed the tour leader to transfer to the island bus to [Shiluokou]
This place got its name because it is shaped like a screw mouth. Exploring these spiral sea caves in depth is undoubtedly the best way to check in here, accompanied by the sound of waves.

In the afternoon, head to Crocodile Mountain Geological Park
The island is named after its crocodile-like shape. The volcanic relics in the Crocodile Mountain area are very typical. They are formed by the condensed stones from volcanic eruptions between 2.5 million and 7,000 years ago, which were polished and corroded by sea water to form piles of strange rocks in various shapes.
After the tour, take a bus to Dishui Danping
Here you can see a unique natural phenomenon: the upper part of the cliff is shaded by green trees, and water often overflows from the cracks between the layers of the cliff, dripping down bit by bit like a hanging red curtain. We waited here for the sunset.
Day 4 Weizhou Island → Chongzuo

Lazy souls can sleep in, while early risers can rent an electric scooter to watch the sunrise at Sunrise Beach. For those who prefer a more independent lifestyle, rent a scooter this morning (about 40 yuan each) and explore the island at your leisure.
In the morning we set out together to the Catholic Church
This is a famous cultural landmark on the island, a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site, and one of the four major Catholic churches of the late Qing Dynasty. Built by French missionaries in 1853, it boasts a rich history. Sunlight streams through the stained glass windows, making filters unnecessary for photos. Outside the church, there are a number of delicious snacks where you can sample local delicacies.
We checked out at noon and took a boat out of the island back to Beihai Pier according to the schedule. Then we took a car to Chongzuo City Hotel to check in.
Day 5 Chongzuo → Dongna Island Bay Scenic Area → Detian Waterfall Scenic Area → Mingshi Farm

After breakfast, we will gather at the Dongnayuwan Scenic Area (also known as the Anping Xianhe Scenic Area. During the rainy season, when the river floods, the boat tour will be closed, but hiking in the scenic area will continue as usual.)
The entire scenic area is characterized by karst landforms, with strange peaks and rocks standing in rows and emerald green rivers winding through. When you take a boat through it, you feel like you are in a flowing landscape painting. It is known as the "Different Lijiang River" and the "Guishuixian River".
We took a boat to a small island in the scenic area, where there was a sea of flowers. We hiked along the scenic plank road (about 3 kilometers in total) back to the entrance of the scenic area. There were many scenes along the way to check in the beauty of this niche scenic area.
Water Fantasy ✔️: Take a boat tour and admire the breathtaking scenery of mist-shrouded mountains and waters.
Guantian Farm ✔️: Here, you'll be captivated by a sea of colorful flowers blooming across the mountains, feeling like you've stepped into a Hayao Miyazaki comic book world.
Xiake Plank Road ✔️: Hike along the winding plank road for stunning mountain and water photography. The rocks alongside the path are inscribed with Xu Xiake's description of Anping Prefecture from his "Xu Xiake's Travel Notes: Diary of a Journey to Western Guangdong, Volume 26," adding to the cultural atmosphere.
Longbitan ✔️: The water flows like white dragons through the stone forest, cascading and gracefully arranged. Multiple observation decks offer close-up views of the magnificent waterfalls.

After lunch, we will depart for Asia's first transnational waterfall [Detian Waterfall Scenic Area]
Detian Waterfall, Asia's largest transnational waterfall, boasts a unique natural beauty, with half belonging to China and half to Vietnam. The torrent cascades down a 70-meter cliff, its three cascades resembling the roar of a galloping horse and the roar of a water dragon. It was also the filming location for the Changliu Mountain fairyland in the TV series "The Journey of Flower." (During holidays, the Detian Scenic Area can be crowded, so the tour guide will adjust the order of the tour based on the day's availability. If there are long lines on the scenic area shuttle bus, please be patient and wait with your group.)

Jiehe River Bamboo Raft Waterfall Viewing (Optional)✔️: Get on a bamboo raft and get up close to the waterfall, feeling its majestic aura.

Tonight we will stay at Mingshi Villa Hotel
Upon arrival at Mingshi Countryside, we will check into the Mingshi Villa Hotel, located within the scenic area. Surrounded by mountains and water, the hotel is poetic and picturesque, reminiscent of a secluded paradise. Here, tourists can enjoy the scenery, drink tea, stroll, simply relax, and chat.
In the evening, we danced around the bonfire (subject to the weather and hotel arrangements on that day) with the Zhuang brothers and sisters, and experienced the lively night with tourists from all over the world.
Day 6 Mingshi Manor → Nanning Disbandment Day

In the morning, the team leader will lead everyone to [Mingshi Tianyuan Greenway Cycling] (Friends who can't ride a bicycle can take a light hike on the greenway, which is about 5 kilometers long)
Countryside Cycling✔️: We cycled slowly along the village paths, enjoying the green mountains and clear waters along the way. Along the Mingshi River, rice fields and sugarcane fields were visible on one side. There were no noisy crowds of tourists, and everything was so peaceful and comfortable.
Sightseeing tour (optional) ✔️: Free tourists can choose to take the scenic area shuttle bus tour.
Our hotel is surrounded by mountains and water, and it was a truly enjoyable experience to simply stay in and gaze at the verdant landscape. Tourists who don't want to get up early can relax and enjoy a relaxing breakfast.

After checking out, we gathered and returned to Nanning.

If you do not go to Nanning city, you can take the Airport Express from Nanning Airport or take the subway from Nanning East Railway Station to Nanning city.
