To climb Jinfeng Peak of Yushan Mountain, you can take the south slope mountain path directly from "Shaoxiang Bay" outside the west gate. The mountain path is steep and narrow, and even young and strong athletes will have to stop frequently to catch their breath. It is said that there are "72 breathing stations", which shows how difficult the path is.

The mountain path winds through dense forests and strange rocks. Sometimes grasshoppers fly around and wild rabbits appear, which is full of wild fun. Along the way, you can appreciate many stone carvings, most of which are relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

It was a beautiful summer day, with pine trees lining the road, and mottled shadows of the trees casting a shadow all over the ground. It was so clear and so quiet!

We arrived at the destination. The bus was already waiting here. We boarded the bus and set off for the return trip.

Destination Introduction

Nestled against the backdrop of a historic city, Yushan National Forest Park is closely connected to a number of illustrious historical figures and boasts a rich cultural heritage. On the eastern ridge of Yushan lies the tomb of Zhongyong, the descendant of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the tomb of Yanzi, a scholar of the Southern Dynasties. On the western ridge, the tomb of Wuxian, a Shang minister, the Spring and Autumn period stone chamber, and the Longmen cliff carvings are found. Xingfu Zen Temple, an ancient temple from the Qi and Liang dynasties, nestles in a secluded valley at the northern foot of the mountain. Its three masterpieces, Tang poetry, Song calligraphy, and the Qing Dynasty stone stele inscribed by Chang Jian, "Inscription on the Zen Courtyard Behind the Poshan Temple," have been immortalized. Yushan also houses the tombs and cultural relics of Huang Gongwang, a great Yuan Dynasty painter; Qu Shisi, a national hero; Weng Tonghe, the imperial tutor of two Qing dynasties; and Wang Ganchang, a pioneer in the development of nuclear weapons and atomic and atomic bombs.
