Driving time: Shanghai to Lingyan Mountain, about 2.5 hours

Hiking: Today's hike is about 22km, with a total climb of 1307m and a maximum altitude of 194m. The road conditions are complex and challenging.

Note: This activity has a mandatory evacuation time of approximately 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. If you do not reach the military camp, you will be forced to evacuate!!! (The specific evacuation time will be arranged by the team leader based on the specific situation of the day. Please refer to the team leader's notification!) Retreating team members need to make their own way to the parking point (there is a direct bus to the evacuation point, so taxis are convenient).

1.Why didn’t I receive a text message notification after registering?

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

1. The Wuzhong Ten Peaks overlap the Wuzhong Cross-Country Race Route, starting from Lingyan Mountain - Dajiao Mountain - Yawuling - Guanyin Mountain - Lushan - Hejiuling - Lianhua Peak - Wufeng Mountain - Yangchangling - Dajiao Mountain - Lingyan Mountain. Starting from the end, it creates a new outdoor closed loop, climbing over ten peaks and ridges in succession. The intensity is moderate and it is a continuous challenge to physical endurance.

2. Lingyan Mountain Temple is one of my country's renowned Pure Land Buddhist monasteries. It is also a renowned historical site and scenic tourist attraction, both nationally and internationally. Located on the shores of Taihu Lake, adjacent to Mudu Town, and fifteen kilometers southwest of Suzhou City, the mountain rises 220 meters above sea level. From its lofty heights, it offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The mountain was named Lingyan because of its abundance of four rocks, resembling the majestic Ganoderma lucidum. The southern cliffs, forming a city-like formation, earn it the nickname Stone City Mountain. Because the mountain curves right, resembling an elephant looking back, it's also known as Elephant Mountain. Lingyan Mountain was the site of the Guanwa Palace, built by King Fuchai of Wu during the Spring and Autumn Period, and was also the site where the Kingdom of Yue presented Xi Shi (the Western Princess) to the Emperor. Remaining relics and historical sites include the Wuwang Well, the Dressing Table, the Flower Pond, the Moon Pond, the Xiangxie Corridor, the Qintai, the Xishi Cave, the Zhiji Well, the Changshou Pavilion, and the Fangting Pavilion. During their southern tours, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty built temporary palaces on the mountaintop, which were destroyed by war in the tenth year of Emperor Xianfeng's reign.
