丨Grassland Crossing/Crossing the Winding Morigele River
Hailar is a city surrounded by grasslands, and the grasslands are visible as soon as you leave the city. After breakfast, we will depart Hailar and, in less than half an hour, we will be immersed in the boundless grasslands of Inner Mongolia. Autumn in Hulunbuir is like God overturning his palette. The grasslands are covered in golden color. Tender, half-human-high grass curls are scattered across the endless pastures, providing winter food for cattle and sheep and a symbol of autumn on the grasslands. The winding streams across the grasslands are not called rivers, but winding rivers. We will take you to an observation deck, where you can see the Morigele River, known as "the world's most winding river." This is also one of the best photography spots on the Hulunbuir grasslands.
丨Golden Autumn Wetland Scenery/Check in the Beautiful Ergun
After our grassland trek, we headed north to the Ergun National Wetland, nestled at the northwestern foot of the Greater Khingan Range. The wetland is captivating for its natural beauty and authenticity. In autumn, the mountains are blanketed in vibrant forests, and the river valley grasslands are gilded with gold, creating a picturesque scene. The moist, fragrant air envelops the senses, making breathing a true pleasure. Birds soar into the blue sky with their cries, and clear rivers meander through the vibrant trees and golden wilderness, presenting a breathtakingly beautiful landscape.

After breakfast, we'll depart at an opportune time to visit the Aoluguya Reindeer Herding Tribe in Genhe. The pastoralists have become the last nomadic reindeer herding people: the Ewenki people. "Aoluguya" means "a place of lush poplars" in the Ewenki language. In the mid-17th century, the reindeer-herding Ewenki migrated to the Ergun River basin. Living alongside the Ewenki are a group of "forest elves," remarkably docile, well-behaved, and endearing. We'll have a close encounter with the reindeer and hear their stories about the forest and life. We'll provide complimentary feeding, allowing you to interact with the adorable reindeer and melt your heart.
丨Golden Autumn Train/Whirling into the Greater Khingan Mountains forest
The autumn Mordaoga Forest Train is a journey into a fairytale. Fiery red larch, golden birch, and lush Scots pine intertwine to create a vibrant, vibrant forest. The retro carriages slowly weave through it, like stepping into a flowing oil painting. The clang of wheels and rails echoes with the rustling of the forest wind. Stops along the way include Scots pine forests and Huayuan Linhai, each scene captivating. The 1.5-hour journey lets the autumn colors of 50° north latitude gently unfold before your eyes, like a golden dream from which you refuse to wake.

We then traveled to the border town of Shiwei, once named one of China's Top Ten Charming Cities by CCTV. It's the birthplace of the Mongolian people and, according to legend, the home of Genghis Khan. Shiwei sits on the banks of the Ergun River, separated from Russia by the Olochi River. Due to its unique location, the town's architecture is imbued with Russian charm, with onion-domed buildings commonplace. You might even spot a Russian-looking man chatting away in Northeastern dialect. Upon arrival, we'll arrange a river cruise, traversing the border, where you'll get glimpses of Russian houses and workers.

We'll take you to the homes of local Russians for a "home visit experience." Despite their foreign appearance, prominent noses, and blue eyes, they speak fluent Northeastern dialect. Chat with them about their daily lives and interesting stories from the town. Make Russian bread together, and unleash your imagination to create beautiful designs on nesting dolls—you can take your creations home!
丨Ulan Mountain Grass Skiing/Experience the speed and passion of the grassland
Wulan Mountain, a dazzling pearl on the right bank of the Ergun River on the Sino-Russian border, stands tall. From its perch, you can overlook the winding Ergun River, which faces the Russian village of Zhaergol across the river. The river's flow through this area naturally forms a beautiful Tai Chi shape, complementing the surrounding natural landscape. Furthermore, the adorable wild marmots that inhabit this area add a touch of vitality and interest to the landscape. Beyond its natural beauty, Wulan Mountain offers a wealth of other tourist experiences. Visiting the grasslands without horseback riding is like nomads not eating beef or mutton. After breakfast, we set off, continuing deeper into the grasslands, arriving in time at Heishantou. Historically, this place was an ancient city, named for the surrounding Black Mountain Range. But more importantly, Heishantou's grasslands, a natural meadow and forest-edge grassland area, are a sacred place for horseback riding in Hulunbuir. With professional equestrian gear and insurance, this is the perfect place to learn about grassland horse culture. We will immerse ourselves in the nomadic life of the nomads. It's a popular online check-in spot in Arxan. The mountains and rivers, woven with the magic of autumn winds, slither into the heart of the Greater Khingan Range, casting a rich golden glow across Arxan. After breakfast, we depart for Arxan National Forest Park (Note 6). Today, we'll enjoy a full-day tour of the scenic area. Our first stop is Tuofengling Tianchi, the largest of the Arxan Tianchi group. Shaped like a human foot, it's one of the most beautiful volcanic lakes in the Arxan region. Autumn in Tuofengling is awash in golden hues and azure waters. The crystal-clear waters of Tianchi reflect the golden reflections of birch trees, creating a vibrant display of color. We ascend along a wooden plank path, taking in panoramic bird's-eye views of Tuofengling Tianchi. After descending, we continue to the Grand Canyon, a volcanic lava fault zone formed through millennia of erosion. The canyon is shrouded in rugged rock formations and gently flowing streams, mingling with the golden autumn colors of the Arxan forests. Our third stop is Dujuan Lake, the largest volcanic lake in the area. In autumn, Dujuan Lake is a dazzling azure, adorned with vibrant forests and a blanket of golden mountainside. Continue to Santan Gorge, which echoes Tianchi Mountain in the distance. The riverbed is made of rocks, and the turbulent Halaha River flows through the valley, with pearls flying and jade rolling, which is fascinating.

Today is our final day, and we'll escort you to your airport according to your flight schedule. Before returning to downtown Hailar, we'll take you on a tour of Arxan Railway Station: a striking example of oriental architecture. While the green-skinned trains are gradually disappearing, Arxan Railway Station, a symbol of its era, remains intact and still in operation. We'll then return to Hulunbuir Dongshan Airport/Arxan Airport for your departure. If you'd like to stay longer, we can also transfer you to your hotel in Hulunbuir/Arxan. Arxan - Hulunbuir Dongshan International Airport is approximately 300 kilometers and takes about 4.5 hours. If returning on the same day, it is recommended to book a flight after 16:00 in the afternoon.
