Autumn Dyeing Wuyanling Ancient Trail Hiking Siming Mountain Golden Ancient Trail

Day 1 Hangzhou → Qixiakeng → Hangzhou

All day

7:00-7:30 Check-in at Hangzhou Huanglong Seafood Stall. Gather and depart, and follow your team leader for interactive games and fun along the way.

We arrived at the almost isolated Hutan Ancient Village around 10:30, and then entered the ancient trail to start our hiking trip.

We arrived at the top of the mountain around 12:30. You don't need to be amazed at this time, because this is the most beautiful season in Siming Mountain. It is a golden world, and the pine needles of the fir trees are spread like a golden carpet. It is an oil painting or a fairy tale... We dine here, pose for photos, and the scenery is so beautiful!

After a short rest, we continued along the Qixiakeng Ancient Trail. The vibrant colors of the forests painted the valley like a painter's palette, with red flowers against green leaves. It was a delightful experience! We arrived at Qixiakeng Village around 4:00 PM, where our car was already waiting for us. We then returned to Hangzhou.

We returned to Huanglong Seafood Stall around 20:00. Everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: about 3 hours

Hiking: The whole journey is about 10 kilometers, with a total climb of 500 meters, and it takes about 4.5 hours

Note: The scenery of maple leaves, fir trees, etc. is greatly affected by weather, rain, and temperature. The viewing period is expected to be 3 weeks. Please be advised!

The Taohuakeng Trail, located on the Qixiakeng Ancient Road, is the current settlement of Wang Xizhi's descendants. It was once the Tang Poetry Route connecting Xinchang, Yuyao, Fenghua, and Ninghai, and is lined with red maples. The narrow, ancient trail is shaded by dense forests and surrounded by mountains. It is paved with cobblestones and follows a stream westward through the deep mountain valleys to Qixiakeng. At the entrance to the village stands the Wang Family Ancestral Hall, an ancient building in the late Qing Dynasty style.
