Arrive at Xiamen by public transportation from your departure point. We will pick you up at the airport/station and drop you off at your hotel, after which you will have free time at your own pace.
Recommended attractions:
Island Ring Road: Head to Huangcuo and Yefengzhai beaches for a leisurely bike ride along the coast, which is quite relaxing. In the evening, head to Zhongshan Road and find food at the Eight Markets, a major food hub in Xiamen.
Bell and Drum Cableway: The cableway is located opposite the Botanical Garden. Sitting in the cable car, you can enjoy the scenery and the sea on one side. Opening hours: 08:30-17:15 (round-trip ticket: 65 yuan)
Day 2 Xiamen City Hotel → Dongdu Cruise Terminal → Gulangyu Island → International Architecture → Shuzhuang Garden → Huang Family Garden (Free Afternoon Tea) → → Xiamen City Hotel

Plan A: Xiamen Botanical Garden

. ◆ Highly recommended for photography enthusiasts: the Araucaria Lawn, Rainforest World, and Succulent Plant Area are all great places to capture stunning photos! Take a taxi or subway from the Botanical Garden's west gate → Rainforest Wonderland → Giant Cactus Jungle → South Gate Mountain and Sea Observation Escalator to the summit (Rainforest World is open 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM).
Plan B: Shapowei + Nanputuo Temple
◆ Recommended route: Shapowei Art West District/photograph the Twin Towers → Nanputuo Temple/take some vegetarian cakes as souvenirs
Plan C: Jimei School Village (via the Maritime Subway)
Take Metro Line 1 and fly over the sea, experiencing the same scenes as Hayao Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky. Visit the Dragon Boat Pond to see the Jiageng Building, and have a snack and coffee at the Grand Shrine at noon.
We will take you to the airport/high-speed rail station in time according to your return travel time. The driver will contact you 1 night in advance to confirm the pick-up time.
