Meet at the designated location of China-TravelNote at 7:00 AM and depart promptly at 7:15 AM (no latecomers!)
7:15-11:00 The journey is long and there will be a stop at a service area in the middle. The team leader will introduce himself and explain the itinerary on the bus, and there will be laughter all the way. During the journey, friends can also recharge their energy for the next hike.
We arrived at Zhejiang Buddhist College, the starting point of the Xikou hike, around 11:00. After warming up, we started hiking!
Passing the Mingshan Zhulin Temple, we arrived at the entrance of the ancient road. Then we continued along the Mingshan Ancient Road, where we saw small bridges, flowing water, and the autumn atmosphere.
Along the way, vast expanses of red and yellow maple forests stretched out their graceful forms. We rested here, and tourists, don't hesitate to use your cameras to capture the stunning autumn scenery. See who smiles amidst the blossoming mountain flowers.
Around 12:30, we’ll choose a place to start our road meal, and everyone can share the delicious food!
The second half of the journey was along the ancient pilgrimage trail, with autumn scenery all the way. The reservoir was reflected in the sun, and the autumn colors on both sides came into view, which was picturesque.
We finished our hike around 4:30 PM and reached the destination. The bus had been waiting for us for quite some time, so we boarded it and headed back to Shanghai.
We returned to our departure point in Shanghai around 20:00. We all said goodbye with tears in our eyes and agreed to meet again next time.
