Day 1 Shanghai → Jietou Town → Shijiazhuang → Waijingkeng Shenxianju → Cliff Village
All day
7:00-7:15, gather at the designated location of China-TravelNote and sign in.
At 7:15, we set off on time and got on the bus. Under the guidance of the tour leader, we had an itinerary introduction and interesting interactions on the bus. There was laughter and joy all the way, and before we knew it, we were approaching our destination.
Around 12:00 PM, we arrived at Tiantai Street Town, a place with endless old streets and alleys, numerous ancient buildings, and a vibrant food scene: Sanhe Youpao (stir-fried fried rice cakes), Hu La Tai (hot broth), fried rice cakes, Hu La Fei (hot spicy hot pot), and wheat cakes... The dazzling array of street vendors overflowed with delicious food, so it was time to grab some to enjoy on our afternoon hike! Afterward, we strolled through the old streets and alleys, gazing out over the magnificent "Ten-Mile Iron Armored Dragon" of the Hanyan Mountains.
Around 14:00, we set out for the starting point of the Cliff Village hike. Starting from Shijiazhuang Village, we took the long and winding mountain road with gentle ups and downs, and easily reached the Waijingkeng Shenxianju.
Around 5:00 PM, after a short rest, we crossed the bridge and began our ascent. Stepping on the weathered bluestone of larch trees and along the towering vertical cliffs, we arrived at the village in the clouds, the Cliff Village. As the sun set, the sky was filled with sunset glow. The beautiful scenery and delicious food were the perfect antidote to a beautiful life!
Around 8:00 PM, after dinner at the farmer's, we chatted under the stars and played with our fairy wands. It was time to get some rest, as tomorrow would bring us even more magnificent views!
Observation time for the 2025 Perseid meteor shower: The possible time is between 23:00 and 04:00 midnight. At this time, the radiant point is higher and the frequency of meteors appears more frequently.

Day 2 Cliff Village → Rock Egg Group → Killing Bridge → Waijingkeng Fairy Residence → Shanghai
All day
Around 5:00 AM, get up early and go watch the sunrise with your friends! The cliff village is surrounded by terraced fields on three sides, with layers of mountains and peaks offering an amazing view. The beautiful sunrise above the clouds in Pan'an is waiting for you!
Around 7:30 in the morning, we got up and sat in the farmhouse to enjoy breakfast. Filling our stomachs is the highest etiquette for hiking!
Around 8:30, we started our hike today, checking out the unique rock formations such as Baojian Rock, Feisong Rock, and Phoenix Egg, and slowly ascending among the clouds. The winding road here goes straight up to the sky. Because it resembles National Highway 318, it is also called the Zhejiang Central 318 Sichuan-Tibet Line, which is breathtakingly beautiful.
Soon, we arrived at the highlight of our trip, the "Murder Bridge." This is a rare volcanic granite formation in China. It's about 100 meters long, 5 meters wide at its widest point, and only 1-2 meters at its narrowest. From a distance, it looks like a bottomless abyss on either side. Walking across it is a game for the brave, so be extremely careful. Those with a fear of heights can also check it out from a distance. It's worth the trip!
Continuing down the slightly steeper slope, we all showed our outdoor spirit and helped each other, and soon returned to the Shenxian Residence in Waijingkeng. We passed Tianxia Kong, Santan Creek, Yulian Waterfall, and other interesting mountain scenery before returning to Shijiazhuang Village. The bus had been waiting for us for a while, so we took a short break, said goodbye to the cliff village, and returned to Jietou Town for dinner.
Around 14:00, we gathered and returned to Shanghai.
We arrived in Shanghai around 19:00, and everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!
