Sanshui Leisure Tour | Visit Foshan's Changqi Ancient Village and Beijiang River Levee, and Savor Sanshui Riverside Fresh

Day 1 Guangzhou → Changqi Ancient Village → Beijiang River Levee → Guangzhou

All day

08:00 Meet at Exit B of Ke Village. Please look for the yellow China-TravelNote sign in.

08:30 Depart on time. The team leader will explain the itinerary and precautions to everyone on the bus, and lead everyone to play ice-breaking games, so that everyone can laugh and chat all the way to the destination.

Around 10:00 AM, we'll arrive at Changqi Ancient Village and begin our century-old village exploration. Climb to the Wenbi Mountain Observation Deck for a bird's-eye view of the entire village – perfect for taking photos! (There are many mosquitoes in the village, so bring mosquito repellent.)

Gather before 12:00 to go to the river seafood restaurant for lunch

We arrived at the restaurant around 12:30 PM and started our special river seafood feast. The river clams went well with the rice, the river shrimps were fresh and sweet, and the sesame chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside... all of them were delicious~

13:30 After a short rest after lunch, take the bus to the Beijiang River levee section with better scenery 1km away and start the 4km "Grassland Sky Road" hiking journey (there is no shelter on the road, so take good sun protection! Tourists who do not participate in the hike can take the bus to the end of the hike to check in the lonely tree. There is also a lonely cafe nearby where you can drink lemon tea/coffee~). After arriving at the end, you can move freely on the Beijiang River levee and meet at the designated time.

17:00 Gather back to Guangzhou

Arrived in Guangzhou before 19:00, ended a pleasant day trip, and agreed to see you next time in the tourist world~

ps: There are mosquitoes in Changqi Ancient Village, so you can bring mosquito repellent; there is no shelter during the hiking route on the Beijiang River embankment, so please wear sunscreen!

Driving time: 1.5 hours

Hiking: 4km hike, basically no climbing, large grassland, very good for taking photos (no shade throughout the whole journey, strong sun in summer, please remember to wear sunscreen!!!)

Changqi Ancient Village, a quiet village with a history of over 600 years, was used as a filming location for "12 Tastes of Life" and the Spring Festival Gala.

Along the Beijiang River levee and grassland sky road, you can encounter cattle and sheep, visit a small fishing port market, taste special river seafood, and check in at the hot and sizzling flat alternative scenic spot (Beijiang River levee suburban road section).
