Day 1 Shanghai → Island Camp → Shanghai
12:45
12:45 Meet and check in at the designated location of China-TravelNote.
13:00
We set off on time and, under the guidance of the staff, had an ice-breaking ceremony on the bus, introducing ourselves and chatting happily. The leader explained the itinerary and other arrangements. We spent some time in the car with laughter and joy, and arrived at the camp unknowingly.
3:00 PM
Arrive at the foot of the mountain and hike up to the campsite (a 1-2km hike with no shade is required, so be careful if you're not prepared!). Led by your tour leader, explore the island's undiscovered wonders: the air-raid shelter (there's no light inside, so bring your own headlamp and flashlight), reefs, cliffs, and beaches, searching for your own unique film. (In the summer, you'll need to return to the shelter to see the ocean, so be sure to wear sunscreen.)
4:00 PM
Everyone can enjoy the scenery under the canopy of the camp while resting and eating. At noon, the camp has a barbecue set meal that can be ordered. You can share a table with a few friends. (The camp is not air-conditioned and is currently equipped with two large fans. Tourists who mind should sign up carefully.)
[Find firewood for a fire] You can pick up dry firewood at the campsite while hiking, and then light a fire in the tent in the afternoon. You can play Werewolf or other board games together. (Those who don't pick up firewood can also buy it at the campsite.)
[Island Fishing] On an island, how can you resist the urge to cast a line? Find a reef, cast a few lines, and anticipate what you'll catch. Everyone is welcome to bring their own gear!
[Listen to the Waves and Go to the Sea] When the tide recedes and the shoreline reveals the sandy beach, it's time to go to the sea. The mudflats are filled with small crabs and jumping fish, and if you're prepared, you might return home with a good catch. (You'll need to bring your own shovel and bucket.) As the seasons change, the low tide times vary daily, so we'll schedule activities based on the actual tide times.
[Fun Frisbee] Get to know the sport of Frisbee and meet more friends who love playing Frisbee. After basic practice, you can freely form a team and start a fun Frisbee game.
[American Hunting Bow and Arrow] American hunting bow, recurve bow shooting, concentrate and release the shot, and experience the thrill of hitting the target from a hundred paces away.
【Colorful Pebbles】Pick up a special stone on the beach and quietly decorate it with paint to your liking under the canopy
All the above activities are free, and the order of play is determined by the weather on the day. If it rains and is not suitable for outdoor activities, you can also play board games under the canopy of the camp.
Or you can do nothing but sit at the foot of the mountains on the island, daydream for the whole afternoon, order a cup of coffee and a cold beer, quietly enjoy the fresh sea breeze under the sky, listen to the sound of waves hitting the rocks on the shore, and watch the big and small ships busy going back and forth on the sea.
Note: The campsite is chargeable. The entrance fee for China-TravelNote members is only RMB 20, which will be collected by the tour leader on the way out. Children under 1.1m are free of charge.
6:30 PM
At sunset, lie quietly on the beach and enjoy the afterglow of the sunset.
7:30 PM
The bus had been waiting for a long time, so we got on and returned to Shanghai.
9:30 PM
Returning to the starting point in Shanghai, we were reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in our eyes.
